The lady at front desk was not happy and passed that room to another check in guest. Moment after, that guest met the same issue. Few hours after my check in, my credit card was charged again. 「We picked the Doyle for its location; this was a one night stop on a longer vaca, and it was perfect. Toured Monticello then checked in here and walked to Belmont and the downtown mall for dinner and ice cream. Another short walk in the AM for brunch and a stroll thru UVa campus before we left. Standard room was fine - minimalist, but clean and everything you need. Lobby, bar and rooftop restaurant are all beautiful!」
