I had a paid reservation at this Bed and Breakfast and when I arrived no one answered the door, or the phone. There were piles of snow blocking street parking and the walkway, and stairs were covered in snow and ice. I ended up having to make a reservation at the Embassy Suites.

To start I wasn’t happy about $10 to park, just seems ridiculous! The room was ok when we walked in. Got in late so went to dinner then came back and headed to bed. Went to wash my face and there was only a trickle of hot water but it wasn’t hot. Ended up washing my face in the tub because I needed ...

Embassy Suites Charleston
As a person who prefers the Embassy. This one is falling apart. It’s old and they charge you $5 a day for internet. They say there is free internet but it doesn’t work. They also don’t have an attached parking for free is 16$ to park next to it. Or free but you have to cross a four lane street.

Charleston Marriott Town Center
Room was dated but clean. Smoke detectors were set off by aerosol deodorant and a hair dryer. Staff were nice about it. But also acted like it’s common. We did not eat breakfast because it was expensive. Overall it was a good stay for what we needed.
