「Beautiful B&B right on boulders beach with unobstructed views of the water! The best part of this B&B was the location. Would recommend staying 1 night to wake up early the following day and see the penguins. The staff are very friendly and helpful and property itself is very large and nicely styled. 」

「We arrived very late to check in and they were so graceful about it. The place was gorgeous and in perfect condition. Definitely worth a second visit. Just wish they would ease their rules up a bit.」

「very old guesthouse!!!!! wrong description from the webpage: 1. no free wifi in room; 2. no parking, 3. no hot water or tap water in room, should paid 25R for a bottle of water! 4. it is a youth hostel not a 4-star !!! 5. may out of electric supply... 6. they ask for 12R for VAT after April 1... 7. a lot of stairs turning from corner to corners... 8.eerie feeling - very dark environment with a lot of strange drawings; 9. the car just park on a single double way path - VERY DANGEROUS and...

「Unique property for an overnight stay. Enjoyed the extra touches especially the hot water bottles for a cold African night. We were able to leave our bags safely prior to check in while we went to the Cape, then our room became available so we had an unexpected early check in which was above and beyond. Thank you!」

「Lovely guest house with the highlight being the varanda where we enjoyed beautiful prepared breakfasts while enjoying the view of the Hout Bay harbour. The only negative was not being offered assistance by the staff on duty to assist with the bags. Steep stairs to the room, so assistance would have been welcome. Apart from that, enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend. 」
