"We were disappointed with our stay. The road to the hotel was closed due to a cycling event, and although we had been in contact with the hotel a few days earlier, we were never informed. When we tried to reach them, no one answered by phone, email, website, or chat. After several hours they finally called back and told us the road would open at 16:30, which was incorrect — it didn’t open until 18:00. The reception staff were unable to make any decisions and had no authority to offer any form of compensation. They told us to contact management after our stay. We tried to file a complaint, but the only offer was a discount on a future visit, which is not useful since we don’t live nearby. After that, they stopped responding. Their justification for not offering compensation was simply that we “got a place to sleep,” even though we spent the entire day trying to figure out how to reach the hotel without any help from them. We could have found a place to sleep for far less than 1000 USD per night. The location is beautiful but very remote, and there is some noticeable wear and tear. Photos speak for themselves."

"Nova Constantia: The room was comfortable and well presented; however, the overall property feels somewhat overrated compared to the outstanding reviews it often receives. Breakfast was disappointing—the salmon was overcooked and the sauce served with the eggs royale was not well executed. Overall, I would not consider this a true 5-star experience; it is suitable for a one-night stay."

"Room is clean.but towels are smelly.no breakfast and no water. Remember to have your breakfast if you ordered.the staff will not remind you to have breakfast.Still charged even you didn't have it，and the toilet is small.the location only convenient for people who drives themselves.Not recommend for tourists"

"This hotel has NO AC…please be mindful when booking as we booked assuming there was A/C paid and upon check-in we were told there was no A/C. It was extremely hot and unfortunately had to check out a night early with no-refund. The property is breathtaking and the staff and super hospitable…but unfortunately we could not enjoy due to the massive heat. Also the walk to the beach is very dangerous and slippery if you are alone. Be careful! "

"Staff very nice. Breakfast was good. Aircon didn’t work. Shower didn’t drain well. They need fans in breakfast area. Parking was interesting, but we managed. Neighborhood isn’t the best but a beautiful view of the mountains."

"Love staying here. Beautiful property, wonderful staff, slept like a baby. Breakfast is amazing. Pool is simple but lovely. I even worked out with the owner, Martin. Very family-owned vibe. Get a SPA/massage from Susie. She was amazing. All in all, a wonderful place, run by wonderful people. I will return! Oh yeah, spend a beach day at Llandudno, perhaps the prettiest beach I've ever seen at sunset, frigid waters but just a lovely place to send an afternoon. "
