We had a total of 30 guests from 9 different countries all over the world, so to make it special, we created a week of wedding festivities rather than only one day! We had an activity day with all of the guests where we chartered a private bus to show us some of the great attractions and hidden gems of Chania. One of our stops was at Stavros Beach where Zorba the Greek was filmed! We had some traditional Greek mezethes (tapas or appetizers), which consisted of lots of #seafood ! I don't know about you, but I could stare at this plate all day long. Skamagkas 2 uker i august 2019

Vi har hatt 2 uker på Skamagkas nå i august. George og foreldrene gjorde sitt aller beste for oss. Fantastiske folk, gjestfrie samtidig som privatlivet ble respektert. George snakket godt engelsk. Nydelig frukt og grønt fra hagen, raki og kaker til velkomst. Meget godt utstyrt leilighet, rent og rolig. Vi ble invitert på middag med familien og de andre gjestene. Nydelig mat etterfulgt av gresk dans. Et minne for livet. Vi hadde ikke bil, men vi liker å gå. Flere flotte strender og tavernaer i gå avstand. Ferskt brød på minimarkedet, 1 km unna. Vi anbefaler Skamagkas og kommer gjerne tilbake. Anne Karin og Stig fra Norge.

Our stay at Skamagkas Apartments was great. We had a nice comfortable, very clean, apartment equipped with all the things you need. It is situated at walking distance from Stavros beach and in this area there is a lot to discover. The owners, who are very nice, will help you finding your way around in this part of Crete. The apartments are situated in a quiet part of this area. You are close to the beautiful city of Chania where you will find the action you need. Nearby there are nice restaurants, wonderful beaches like Marathi and Loutraki. Marathi beach has a very good fish restaurant Patrelantonis, just look for the busiest restaurant at the sea. Many people visit the area of Heraklion but this area offers an ideal environment for an unforgettable stay. You will need a car and when the time has come to return you are only 15 minutes away from Chania Airport (CHQ). Do not hesitate to book an Apartment here. You will learn about the Greek way of life in a very nice atmosphere.

Perfetto!

Appartamento spazioso, pulito e dotato di ogni confort (angolo cottura, microonde, forno, phon, condizionatore, fan..), accoglienza calorosa da parte dei proprietari, super gentili e disponibili. Posizione ottima: a 15 minuti dall'aeroporto di Chania, a meno di 20 minuti di macchinia da spiaggie sabbiose e con acqua cristalline. Altre mete da raggiungere sono il Palazzo di Cnosso (a 2h) mentre le spiagge di Elafonisi e Balos sono raggiungibili con un'ora di macchina. Lo consiglio vivamente per una vacanza a Creta!!

Ottimo appartamento, ottima pulizia

Sono stato in grecia molte volte ma questa volta sono stato letteralmente adottato dai proprietari (con tutta la mia famiglia). Ho scelto uno dei 2 appartamenti più grandi, sala con terrazza grande, cucina a vista separata da ripiano, 2 camere da letto con terrazzo. Tutto pulitissimo, mobili nuovi, ben arredato. Molto bello l'approccio dei proprietari: forniscono tutto ciò che può servire appena arrivati (e oltre) come zucchero, sale, detersivo per i piatti, detergente per mani e docciaschiuma. Come benvenuto raki, frutta e verdura fresche dall'orto, acqua fredda e dolcetti fatti in casa. In questo modo non devi correre appena arrivato a prendere le cose base di prima necessità. I proprietari sono fantastici, gentili, pronti ad aiutare: mia moglie è dovuta rientrare per un'emergenza in Italia e io e i ragazzi siamo stati letteralmente presi sotto protezione, piccole cose, piccole attenzioni, ma importanti che ti fanno sentire a casa tua. George, il figlio che gestisce la casa dalla parte amministrativa ed organizzativa, è un'ottima persona, sempre presente che cerca di fornire consigli su qualsiasi cosa possa servire per una vacanza nella regione (ci ha fatto scoprire posti non pubblicizzati, insomma la Grecia familiare ed amica che si poteva trovare 20 anni fa). Organizzano anche dei barbecue con gli ospiti e la famiglia: cibo spettacolare!

We arrived to the apartment at 3.30 am, due to flight delay. George and his father were standing the entrance waiting for us with big smile warmly welcome and (apreciates a lot) a couple of home made sandwiches just made. That said, that was only the welcome but in every moment George and his parents make feel you like at your home. This is more than a simple week of holiday this is have found a second home in Crete. Relaxen in der Natur

Familiengeführte schöne, kleine Appartmentanlage, ruhig gelegen, ideal zum Erholen. Sehr gepflegte Anlage mit Garten und sehr nettem Vermieter. Es gibt nichts zu bemängeln, sehr zu empfehlen, man sollte allerdings mobil sein oder gut zu Fuß, da der Strand von Stavros, nicht in unmittelbarerer Nähe ist.

Semplicemente perfetto

Appartamento completo di tutto, molto molto pulito e curato. La zona è tranquilla, perfetta per una vacanza rilassante. La posizione permette di raggiungere facilmente le più belle spiagge e la città di Chania. Sicuramente uno dei punti di forza della struttura è l'ospitalità e la disponibilità dei proprietari. Per me e il mio compagno è stata la prima volta a Creta e sicuramente anche grazie a questa famiglia ci abbiamo lasciato un pezzo di cuore.

Great hotel run by a very friendly family

The hosts were so friendly, and they provided us with a great place to stay. They greeted us with fresh fruits from the garden and homemade raki, they gave us an umbrella when it rained, and they offered to drive us to the market when we had car trouble. The interior is new and to a high standard. Overall a great place to stay!

Très bon rapport qualité /prix

Un appartement très sympa, propre (ménage effectué 2 fois par semaine, changement des draps et des serviettes de toilette également) . George le propriétaire est jeune, sympa, et a préparé une petite doc pour les environs, ce qui facilite pas mal, les allées et venues . Tout le confort pour un séjour agréable. La plage est à 1,5 km , une partie privée avec parasols et matelas pour Cinq euros par personne. On trouve à se garer facilement, et il y des restaurants tout autour. pas de prise de tête , les gens sont très gentils, et l'on s'y sent en sécurité.

Hotel tres sympa

Appart hôtel tres sympathique. Lit confortable , équipement cuisine assez complet.. microonde four, toasteur etc.. L'accueil etait chaleureuse ! Avec des fruits des œufs, une boisson etc! Ils y mettent du coeur Ca se voit :-) Seul bemol Pour certaines chambres les balcons ne sont Pas privatisé mais rien de très dérangeant. Calme Pas du Tout bruyant. Tres bonne hygiène dans les chambres. C'est assez moderne et la clim marche vraiment bien ! Également, je conseille d'être véhiculé pour loger à Skamagkas Apartment. Pour la plage il faut compter moins de 10 min en voiture, voir 5 (Car Il y a en plusieurs), Et je ne l'aurai pas envisagé à pied. Idem pour les mini markets ! Je recommande pour les petits budgets en tout cas :-)

Généreux !

Nous avons passé un agréable séjour au sein de Skamagkas M.Apartments! Georges et sa famille sont des personnes très gentilles et soucieuses que tout se passe bien. Les appartements sont à 20/25min de Xania centre en voiture. Si vous cherchez confort, propreté et budget maitrisé c'est le lieu qu'il vous faut!!

Quiet & cosy apartment near the sea

We had a great time in a beautiful surrounding. The apartment is both close to the airport (~ 10 min) and near to the sea (next beach 2 min by car, you can even walk there). Great restaurants and also markets that offer most you might need are close. It is a very quiet area. Our host did all to feel not only welcome more to feel like visiting family or friends. He and his family care about their guest in a discrete way. His recommendations brought us to a few amazing locations. I only can once again thank for such a hospitality. It was a great chance to calm and relax.but it is also a good syartingpoint to explore the island. The apartment itself is newly built and well equipped. It is really clean. And will be clear regularly. Also a exchange of towels and sheets is forsee. We found all we need and a lot we did not expect. The pictures on the apartment are what you will find. I only can recommend this place.

Gli appartamenti sono tutti grandi ed appena ristrutturati, George ed i suoi genitori sono a disposizione per qualsiasi cosa! Ci hanno accolto come se fossimo componenti della famiglia!! L'ultimo giorno hanno anche organizzato una grigliata buonissima invitando gli ospiti di tutte le camere. Davvero davvero consigliato!

Accueil exceptionnel de Georges et de sa famille, appartement neuf, très bien équipé, spacieux, le meilleur que nous ayons eu sur les 4 locations de notre sejour en Crete. Verre de bienvenue, petits gâteaux maison, fruits du jardin, conseils, rien ne manquait. Proche de la plage, des commerces, au calme, mais il faut une voiture pour se déplacer car place à la campagne.

IT. Ottima struttura di appartamenti situata vicino alla spiaggia di Stavros. I proprietari, George e i suoi genitori, vi faranno sentire come a casa vostra accogliendovi con un buon raki e qualche delizioso dolcetto fatto in casa, oltre che a fornirvi ogni informazione su cosa visitare nei dintorni. Sono delle persone molto gentili, sempre col sorriso sulle labbra. L'appartamento ha tutto quello che può servire, è dotato di ogni comfort ed è moderno e pulitissimo. Bagno grande e anche cabina armadio. Personalmente eravamo già stati a Creta e questa struttura è la migliore che ci sia. Vivamente consigliata! ENG. Excellent accommodation during our stay in Crete. The apartment is super modern, comfortable, clean and well equipped. It's not my first time in Crete and I have to say this is a very very good place to stay, the best. If I ever decide to come back, I will surely book again one of these lovely apartments. This accommodation is highly suggested!

The perfect hotel

If you are looking for the perfect accommodation from which to explore the western part of Crete, then look no further! George and his parents make the stay both comfortable and totally relaxing. The rooms were spotless all the time and completely equipped. In addition your hosts are always available for advice and in the evening are so hospitable and always cheerful and friendly. I recommend the Skamagkas apartments without hesitation and wholeheartedly!
