"A relaxing rural retreat in a Victorian farmhouse with attentive staff, excellent food and located in the most wonderful setting with plenty of birding and wildlife opportunity. We enjoyed cycling around the working farm and the special nature reserve Ensure that you have clear instructions to find the farmhouse (don't rely upon Google Maps - as we tried to do!)."

"No swimming towels made available, told to make use of our bath towels. Swimming pool was dirty with crickets and dead frogs in it. The bath towels are old and hard. The bedding is stained with old marks. Paint is peeling off walls in unit. No-one emptied dustbins over a 2 days stay even though we placed this outside. Wine glasses on the shelf cracked. Iron was rusted and marked out clothing. Remote control for gate not working. Did not need or want to hear Receptionist’s work history....

The day of booking the property the owner called after 9pm to enquire where the payment was to which we explained it was purchased on hotels.com AND that the trip was for my SICK mother. I cannot recall if there was an iron previously but we did miss this - perhaps a mini foldable ironing board and iron could be provided. "The standard of accommodation was excellent and everything was done so tastefully. The property and room was a dream and only wish we had longer than 2 nights. The food was superb and being located on a wine estate with beautiful walks and nature was an amazing experience. We will definitely return and a massive thank you to the staff and manageress for making our stay so incredible. Everything was just perfect."

"We stayed in a luxury 4 sleeper unit, which was nice, with all the basic cutlery, crockery in a house you could possibly need, spacious with a much needed aircon, there was staff who came to clean the unit each day. The only thing i wished they refilled for us was the dish washing liquid and left us with a dish cloth to dry our daily dishes. The couches in the lounge was really hard to sleep on and uncomfortable, not really suited for elderly adults."
