Prepare to walk some steps. The entrance is located at the top of quite a large number of steps. There is a ramp for handicap access however, its longer than the length of steps. Im assumming they had to build the building elevated bc of its location next to the red river. If you are going purchase tickets, spend a little more and get in the 100s sections. The 200 sections has MORE steps to access the section and very steep stairs to access the seats.
We go to the Regional Convention of Jehovah's Witnesses here each summer. It is a very nice facility. If you have trouble going up stairs use the side entry to the arena floor level. There is a small elevator that can take you upstairs just to the right of the doors. Sit upstairs if you will need access to the women's bathroom when there's a crowd because there are a lot more stalls in the ones upstairs. Hope this helps.
