「The staff are very friendly, the room is large and spacious and the mini-balconies are a nice touch. Everything is clean, the restaurant serves tasty food, and if you’re facing west, you get a great view. 12 minute walk from the metro which gives easy access to the Casbah. 「Very difficult people at reception on two different stays denied that I had a reservation despite showing Expedia paid booking. First room had mold on walls and a tiny bathroom and required that we climb four sets of circular stairs at 2 am. Second room was much better and bathroom was fine but air conditioner did not work. Breakfast pastry was sometimes not fresh. Location was good but no one speaks English only French.」

We had a very bad experience when negotiating with airport taxi driver from Algers airport to the hotel before. So this year we chose Hotel Best Night as they have free shuttle bus service.
