"Nice, contemporary hotel with well-appointed, contemporary rooms. The front desk staff we talked to knew very little English and when spoken to in Chinese, were not very helpful and generally confused when we asked for restaurant recommendations. Now, we understand that few Westerners probably stay at this hotel."

"This hotel is impeccably clean. I was there for a conference and did not visit the pool, but the rooms and common areas were upscale and spotless. The service was outstanding. I would stay for a leisure trip if given the opportunity. The breakfast buffet had a wide variety with good quality. The tables in the dining area were kept clean, even during busy times. "

Even before our arrival at the hotel, the concierge at the hotel, Oscar, was in touch with us to offer his services regarding transportation, site seeing and other details regarding our visit to Xian. He responded quickly to our email queries and gave detailed advice regarding how to make the best use of our short time in Xian. We were able to very efficiently navigate the city and thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Xian because of Oscar's willingness to go over and beyond his job to make us feel at home in a new city."
