It is a nice clean motel with a kitchenette and bathroom. Beds were comfortable and it was quiet. The owners are friendly. We liked its location to Goderich and GrandBend .

Owners were very friendly and hospitable. Room, although dated, was clean and met my needs while working out of town. Fridge and microwave and kettle all worked well. Would definately stay here again if dispatched out of town.

it was a bit isolated but can’t do much about that. the whole place is dated but clean , bed was comfortable and the coffee maker worked! which is more than i can say for most expensive hotels. Staff was courteous… great place to rest for the night and the price was right!!! no complaints

Reminiscent of places we stayed on family vacations in my youth. 🙂 We were given our choice of two rooms. Both were spacious and clean. Our choice came down to the bedspread pattern. 😉 Not a fancy property but all that we needed was provided. Check in was quick and courteous. Would definitely recommend.

We were more than satisfied with the room..spacious and very clean. The room had been completely updated and looked brand new. The motel doesn't look like much from the outside and unit doors need a coat of paint to spruce the look up.

A step back in time

The Silver Birch Motel may be dated and has a bit of a Schitt's Creek vibe, but we think that's part of it's charm! We were greeted at the front desk by a very friendly couple who made sure we had everything we needed for a restful night sleep. The beds were comfortable, the room was exceptionally clean, and the AC blew very cold. The Silver Birch is a perfect option for a quick, inexpensive and comfortable overnighter.

Good location

My needs were very little. I oicked this motel for the location and it didnt dissapoint. Very close to town and all the ammenities. The room was set up with a flat screen, 2 queen beds, dresser, work table and to my surprise, a kitchenette! Thats a money saver all day long! The bathroom seemed to be recently remodelled and had a bath/shower combo.

It's an older country property, so I couldn't justify a 5 star rating for Property Condition & Facilities, so I gave a 4 star rating. But everything else was excellent. Friendly staff at check-in, even offered a room upgrade without charging more for a superior room! The room was very clean and comfortable, everything we needed for a quick overnight stay. The room price was quite reasonable and I'd go back again if we were in the area.
