"First of all when we checked in, my husband was informed we'd been put in a "pet room." We did not ask for a pet room, and did not want one, but the hotel clerk said that was what we got. She gave my husband two coupons to use in the bar, restaurant, or gift shop. We immediately noticed a smell when entering the room. Then, a dog began barking down the hall. "What did we get ourselves into?" I wondered. I called the front desk several times before anyone answered. I asked how we could use the coupons in the restaurant if the restaurant was closed. "You can use them in the gift shop for snacks and such," the woman replied. My husband went to the gift shop which was actually the front desk area, and asked the woman why we were put in the pet area of the hotel when we had no pets. "You got what was left because you didn't book directly with us. You booked through Expedia, so you can either stay in what's left or leave," the woman said curtly. Our room smelled of wet dog; the hallway smelled, too. A dog would bark repeatedly whenever someone walked down the hall past it's door. The bathroom was old, with a large wet spot on the ceiling where the paint was bubbling. The towels had strange yellow stains like they'd been used to mop up dog urine. The sheets on the bed were rough, and the pillows were so hard and uncomfortable. It was terrible! I would NEVER recommend this hotel to anyone."

"The staff here was amazing. So friendly! Best breakfast we’ve had at a hotel in years—bar tender at the happy hour made us laugh uncontrollably, the lady who made omelets was so joyful. This hotel is doing everything right! Thanks for the great stay!"

"It was an average stay. The room could’ve been cleaner. There was hair in the tub when I arrived. Had issues connecting to the Wi-Fi. I received a call from staff to my room about a noise complaint that was coming from the room next to me. The staff was a bit rude about it. Other than that it’s a cool place to take the kids for the pool alone. I give it an 3 out of 5 stars. (P.S they have a longer hold on your credit card than most hotels. Mine’s was for $100."

"Everything about our stay was good. Everything was so clean and that is very important for people traveling. The staff was very professional and nice and the free breakfast was a nice touch. I highly recommend this location for anyone traveling through that area."

"Rooms were very clean and comfortable. Beds were incongruous… one bed was very comfortable, while the other had a less comfortable, very springy-like mattress, but acceptable. Nice to have a microwave and mini refrigerator. Clean bathroom with adequate space and counters. Coffee & ice by the lobby was convenient. Front office staff was fairly friendly. AC/Heat & Fan unit easy to operate. The only negative was the strong smell of cleaning product (like Pine-Sol) that was eminent and noticeable during our entire stay (maybe somewhat less noticeable on Day 2, but still present). Would recommend highly, due to comfort, cleanliness, and cost!!"

"First thing when you walk in, you get knocked down by a horrible waft of unbearable cologne or air freshener. It smells terrible and was way too strong. Rm. 207. We had no hot water in the room all weekend despite running the faucets for 15 minutes. The faucets on the sink were loose and the toilet barely flushed. The manager came in and fixed the sink fixtures and tried to fix the toilet but it didn't make much difference. Overall the room was poorly maintained. We found a squished bug in the silverware drawer and the second day, a LIVE carpet beetle larvae in the sink. Talked to the front desk and was told they were sold out of rooms and the Mgr. wouldn't be back until Monday. For over $700 for 3 nights, not Acceptable!!!"
