Sehr freundliches Personal in einem wirklich schönen, toll gelegenen Hotel.
Merci. Je recommende donc chaleureusement cet hôtel.
The breakfast can be better.
Eggs were tough on the sides because no one was stirring them to keep them fresh. Salmon had grey edges from spending too much time outside the refrigerator.
The rooms need to have slippers and robes, the floors need to be fixed, they are not straight and it's annoying.
The hair dryer is horrible, please replace it with a proper powerful hairdryer, it's unusable.
Everything else is excellent.
We were disappointed with several aspects of our stay. Although Room 9 was spacious, it was very basic, and the overall condition of the property left much to be desired. The towels provided were old and torn, and the shower was rusted with barely any water pressure. The chateau itself appeared poorly maintained and quite run-down, giving the impression of a lack of strong and caring management. During a walk in the otherwise beautiful forest nearby, we were disheartened to see construction waste dumped along the road. Additionally, the reception was not staffed when we checked out, so we had to leave our room key on the front desk.
While the property carries the name of a chateau, the experience unfortunately does not live up to it — especially not at the $200 price point. If the original owner who donated it were to see the current state of maintenance, they would likely be disappointed. The atmosphere, which is meant to be peaceful and tranquil, was disrupted by a group of young men walking around playing loud music.
Although free car charging is provided , the outlet is outdated and incompatible with most modern electric vehicles, making it of little practical use.
On the positive side, we arrived late but received clear instructions for accessing the room after hours, which was helpful. The breakfast was decent and sufficient to start the day.
We wanted a quiet hotel with a nice restaurant nearby Blois and were rewarded with a great courteous welcome in a beautiful old estate . The dinner was absolutely delicious with a great creative menu servd by mot friendly and profesional waiters.Well worth a visit.
Nice, clean and quiet. We had fantastic food and wine in the restaurant courtyard. A good night’s sleep. And our car was charged with the hotel’s charging point. Great and welcoming staff also. Big recommendations.
Le château est très bien entretenu. La chambre familiale est agréable, spacieuse, propre avec une literie de qualité. Le personnel est très accueillant. Nous sommes restés qu'une nuit mais on reviendra volontiers pour un séjour plus long .
Wonderful! Nice, peaceful Chateau hotel with big rooms, nice breakfast and dinner! Just 5 miles from town and not far for our visits to Chenonceaux and Chambord Chateau’s. Perfect location for a day slower pace on our adventurous 15 European vacation.
