"Room had sticky floors, drink had been spilled on chair and left. Bathroom was clean. Staff has always been helpful but not this time. Didn’t seem to care what we needed help with. And we were woke up late when the front desk called to ask our arrival time and we had checked in at 2:00 in the afternoon. I reached out to the manager but no response. Not the usual experience we have at Pigeon Forge Island Inn Margaritaville."

"I booked an upgraded room size and bed through Expedia, when I got there they had me down for the smaller room and bed. After much stress I finally found a way to contact Expedia directly but they could not fix the situation even though the Expedia agent admitted I booked the larger room and bed. All she could do was start an investigation into how it happened and they would get back to me in a few days, ( I was at the counter checking in so an investigation would do me no good). Fortunately (Janet) at the Westgate desk saw the frustration we were having with Expedia and made the situation right. We were completely happy with our room and the resort after the Expedia error was fixed by Westgate."

"Just know unlike other hotels in The area, this one is up on a hill. So you need a shuttle or car to take you up and down on the Main Street. The view of the mountains up there is very refreshing and beautiful. Breakfast was good. Custom omelet, biscuits potatoes sausages fruits oatmeal grits cereal toast bagel cheese deli meat. Same everyday. They have a microwave on every floor. It’s $20/ night for parking. We loved the woody/cabin feel of the hotel. Others criticize it for being run down— it’s not run down it’s just supposed to have that woody beaten up feel. Very nice people and staff."
