Torres do Oeste is just one of the places to see in Catoira, so why not enjoy the other things to explore during your travels? Take some time to visit the spas in this walkable area.
Every August, locals don Viking costumes and stage a mock invasion at Torres del Oeste fortress during the famous Romería Vikinga festival. Climb the ancient stone towers for panoramic views of the Ulla River, where medieval watchtowers once protected Galicia from Norse raiders.

I loved my stay here. Clean, beautiful decor, extremely helpful staff and a café with fantastic light fare and spirits. My room was spacious and comfortable. After walking the camino I needed some rest. There was a big tub so I could soak. Chairs to find a corner and read. Peaceful.

The only problem with this spot was that we could only stay two nights! What a fantastic place, hard to describe the charm and coziness and stylishness, but suffice it to say I've stayed in fab hotels and resorts all over the world and among small hotels this is as good as or better than any.
