「Dogs friendly lodge. I do appreciate people in the UK treat their dogs as families. We saw a lot of friendly dogs in the lodge. What a great experience. The breakfast is nice and the receptionist is enthusing to deliver help. 」

「We arrived and wasn't too sure which of the pubs we were staying in. One of the girls was really helpful. The room was extremely small but absolutely not an issue. It was relatively clean, the only thing's that were a bit of a put off - the stains on the chair in the room, cooling fan covered thick in dust, bath matt was mouldy and the bathroom had black mould on the ceiling. Despite this the bedding and towels were all nice and clean. Weve never had a shower so hot before in any hotel which...

「Location amazing - quiet, no noise from main road, great view of lake and direct access to the lovely 10 mile path all around the lake. Beds in our twin room were nice and comfy. Lovely staff. Nice breakfast. Only negative is that the hotel really needs a bit of a refurb/modernisation, but for the price it's still great value. Highly recommended」

「What lovely staff, so friendly. This is the best place i have stayed in yet on my Coast to Coast walk. Breakfast was amazing, apart from the usual full english (which loses its novelty after 5 days!) chose eggs benedict which was perfectly cooked and made a lovely change.
