Very clean room with all what you need for your stay. Danilo is excellent host with all information you may need for your stay in Catania area. He arranged for us early morning (5am) transfer to the airport. I would definitely recommend Vivendo apartments.

We were driving across Sicily in the middle of of the night. We arrived around 3-4 am Construction all around the building can’t find a sign or nothing. There’s a lock box the manager says has an electronic key. We call the manager. He says he doesn’t speak English but then he starts speaking. Go through the maintenance area up elevator to 2. Then he says go to another floor. Then he says go to another floor. My daughters were the ones checking it out they said it looks dirty and he can’t figure out where to go. Graffiti all around the neighborhood with prostitution. I said forget this place and went to B an B down the street. Open lobby friendly people. Slept there at B And B lost my money vivendo Didn’t sleep there. The manager was mad that I called him and said I was drunk. Sorry mister I don’t drink so go back to bed He says you didn’t reply to my text. I was in the mountains with no signal. Just assumes I got his text. Says can check in anytime through the lock box. He says it was 12 was the cutoff. Change your policy then on the internet.

It was easy to find the flat and plenty of parking. We stayed at level 3, room no 5. Unfortunately a very strong drainage smell was coming out of the toilet which stunk the bedroom. The curtains won't close. The shower was dirty. We alerted the owner of this who admitted there was a drainage issue in the building that has been causing the smell. He said at 10:30pm at night if we didnt like it we could leave. The next day, despite admitting to the problem the night before he then denied it and said we were just trying to get a refund. We never asked for money back. Then he asked to send on WhatsApp our ID. Who would ask that? But he said he would sue us because we hadnt produced ID to pay local tax. The whole thing had been paid up front days before as we booked through Expedia. He is rude who only decided to accused via WhatsApp messages. We do not recommend this host.

6/10 Okay
