Staff very friendly and would do anything for you. Room very spacious and very clean. Breakfast was amazing and the best I have had in a long time. Location was perfect and right on the doorstep of the main shopping strip with shops and restaurants within walking distance. I would definitely recommend and will return.
We didn’t speak the language but the hosts were very polite and used translation app to communicate.
We were greeted in the street and escorted into our accommodation. Our room was lovely and had a view of Mt Etna. Great location.
Staff were good
Breakfast was good
Room was serviced daily
Able to make an espresso in the kitchen whenever you wanted
Had a good view of etna
Bus stop right out the front of the property
Air-conditioning worked well
Best place to stay in Catania. Wonderful service, view to Etna and over the city from the balconies. Close to everything. Bus to the airport - Alibus- leave right in front of the building. Remember to contact the owner before arrival.
I had a fantastic little room with a balcony and a very kind and caring host. Тhere was a lovely view of Etna from the breakfast room. The only problem was the neighbour's dog (the hotel is on one floor in an apartment building) which kept barking, even through the night.
I loved this place!! The location is perfect. It's near all the main sites. The room was super clean. The bed was comfortable. Carmelo was a great host!! He's a very nice man. Just right outside the entrance is the bus stop to the airport. The breakfast was simple but very good. I would definitely stay here again. I hope to return in the future.
Owner is very friendly but speaks no English. We were able to communicate with Google translate. Room was great and I had a perfect view of Mt. Etna.
Breakfast was not the best. Owner's son asked us what we wanted for breakfast the next day but did not give us what we asked for. Wifi did not work in all the rooms.
Hotel is in a great location
The host was very friendly and tried to help. He had minimal English so used a translator on his phone. The property was not where it was shown on hotels.com. Instead of being on the square by the metro it was about a quarter of a mile away from the location listed in the direction away from the city center. It did have a bus stop outside the door.
This is a bed and breakfast, but the owner does not live on site.
The hotel is on the 5th floor of residential building with a gate - so you won't know you're there until the owner meets you (no signs etc). Google maps will tell you you're there. If you see a gated building and Google says you're there, it is probably correct.
If you're coming from the airport or train, take the Alibus to Viale bus stop and you'll be about 2 minute walk from the hotel - If you're coming from train ask someone trustworthy (worker) where the stop is for Alibus - you will not know you're at the hotel, but the owner will greet you at the gate. He'll take you to the elevator and will explain all the keys, when you go upstairs.
This is such a cute, small bed and breakfast (6 rooms).
The breakfast is typical Italian breakfast (croissants, meats, cheese etc). A younger gentleman is there to help with breakfast.
Our room (room 1) had a balcony and we were able to enjoy a couple of concerts in the park, from our balcony. We also had access to the kitchenette area so we could grab dishes and glasses if we needed.
Both gentleman spoke Italian (which is expected in Italy) but were very patient in my use of a translator app to communicate.
Our room was clean and set up very nicely. Large and enjoyable.
The only complaint is the neighbor's dog. The neighbor isn't a very good dog owner.
Owner is very friendly and goes above and beyond to help. Space was sufficient and clean, conveniently located. Elevators onsite so no need to carry your luggage through stairwells.
This B&B doesn’t have any signage but upon arrival the owner showed up and brought us to the correct floor and helped us get settled in.
Nice property has all the facilities and station and centre are all walking distance. Just bare in mind that if your staying there on a weekend that there is a festival going on until 12am in the nearby park.

Nothing special. It was very difficult to figure out where to go once we were inside the building. No indication whatsoever. Luckily another customer saw us (we looked lost with our suitcases) and told us to go to the 5th floor. A lot of mosquitoes!!!
