Struttura dignitosa e con capiente parcheggio. Pulizia della camera buona. Peccato per la vista direttamente su una enorme fabbrica. Il centro dista circa 2 km. dall'hotel.

Tranquillo soggiorno

Tutto ok anche se c’è spazio per qualche miglioramento: mancano appendini nel bagno e piani d’appoggio in camera. La colazione ha ottimi prodotti ma con poca varietà. Molto bello il giardino con la piscina Nel complesso un buon soggiorno nel cuore della Garfagnana.

Excellent stay

Hotel The Marquee is located on the outskirts of Castelnuovo, a 5 minute drive or 30 minute walk to the centre. The hotel has a restaurant, bar, swimming pool, free parking and free wifi (now fixed). Rooms are pleasant: mine had TV, fridge, shower and a balcony. What sets the hotel apart is the host, Alfredo. He has lived in London and speaks excellent English. Seemingly ever-present, and always attentive, nothing is too much trouble. I'm looking forward to going back!

Gradevole e singolare

Da quel poco che abbiamo osservato (vi abbiamo trascorso poche ore, dal tardo pomeriggio alla mattina dopo), il fattore dominante è la personalità e la cortesia del Titolare. Il titolare è una presenza costante, dalla reception al ristorante, e nulla sfugge alle sue cure, tanto che ci siamo sentiti coccolati e assecondati per ogni necessità. La struttura è gradevole, con molto verde intorno, ampio parcheggio ombroso, camere abbastanza spaziose e confortevoli. Il silenzio notturno garantisce un buon sonno e tutto è di buon livello. Il ristorante offre una buona scelta e una buona qualità, servizio veloce e gentile. La perfezione dunque? No, non esiste, qualche piccolo neo c'è sempre. Un televisore con pochi e misteriosi canali, l'assenza di un frigobar, qualche problemino nel bagno,,, nulla di grave comunque. Nell'insieme un soggiorno molto gradevole e,,cosa non indifferente, a prezzi di assoluta onestà anche per il ristorante.

Hotellet har de fasilitetene som skal til for et hotell med karakteren dette får i "annonsen" på Hotels.com. Hotellet drives av et eldre ektepar som ikke klarer å få frem hotellets kvaliteter. Det var lite informasjon tilgjengelig på hotellet om området. Det så ikke ut til at de hadde noen kontakt med turistkontoret på stedet. Kanskje det ville vært på tide med et generasjonsskifte??
