「My first time to Italy, arrived from cruise port. I have no idea about geographic location of either the port, the hotel or even Rome. Turn out it is about 20 min from the port and 45 min from Rome. Hotel staffs are friendly and arranged taxi transportation from the port to the hotel. Hotel is next to the beach with private deck for Sun bathing. We spent a few afternoon at the bar enjoying my drink and ocean breeze. A perfect place for relaxation. 」

The problem is they do not have the air-conditioning on when you arrive and then when you are at the beach, the staff comes in and a large amount of money was taken from our room which was very disappointing as this was the beginning of our trip. 「While every aspect of the property was very nice and the owners were so welcoming I was disappointed with our room . The view out a very small window was not brilliant and if it was open it was far too noisy to sleep. I think it was not good value for the money 」

「Don't do it. The beds are awful (like sleeping on giant toothpics) that was the top of the mattress. The pillows are flat and you get one each. There is nothing on site or within walking distance. AND if you book through a third party like expedia dont plan on getting the room you paid for or have it come close to what it looks like on pictures. The property is dated and needs much tlc.」

It was a short walk to the main downtown core but if you went the other direction there were a handful of restaurants right along the water.
