"The property was nice with very friendly and helpful staff. We really enjoyed our stay. The one downside was the dinner we had at the hotel restaurant; my daughter and I both ordered the filet mignon and it came out with half a carrot cut into 2 small pieces, maybe one mushroom thinly sliced into 5 pieces and that was it with the filet. It was mediocre at best. My wife ordered a salad bowl and it came out extremely salty. She couldn't eat it. The food was not good (especially given the price); which is weird because we ordered the fish & chips for lunch earlier and it was great. So we are not sure what happended there. Otherwise, the hotel was perfect. We would return and recommend to anyone wanting to visit Chapel Hill. "
"I stayed at a loft every time I bring my son to see a medical team member at UNC Chapel Hill. We love the rooms. The service is always exceptional. Also a loft is less than three minutes from Meadowmont Circle, which is where most of our providers are. We make this trip 2 to 3 times a month. The only thing I’m not pleased with are the pillows. These are in need of replacement for sure. Thank you always for such courteous staff and excellence service.!!"
"Breakfast is fantastic. Very easy to commute to UNC School of Gov. Food in the area is abundant, try Mess Hall. Didn’t give 5 stars on room because both the A/C units in my room were acting up and weren’t fixed by the time my stay ended. Didn’t give 5 stars for area around property because multiple of my classmates had their cars broken into/damaged in the parking lot. Not the hotel’s fault but it happened. Park near the front entrance, that’s what I did. Also, parking is not included in stay, that was 12.5 a day. Ask for a code at the front office, they can sometimes validate your parking. Overall this property is a 5 star. "
"I really enjoyed this property. Each floor has an area with snacks in a refrigerator like sodas and ice cream and popcorn. We stayed during a not very busy time, but I bet this place would be amazing during a football or basketball game."
