Carolina Beach is my favorite beach closest to where I reside in NC, so I love to go there as a quick getaway any chance I can get. People are friendly and the neighborhood is safe and many desired places to go are conveniently close by.

The beach area itself was wonderful! Plenty to do, many food options nearby, and several fun things to experience, including the Boardwalk. I would definitely come back to Carolina Beach again but stay at a different property.

"Another perfect beach trip at Golden Sands. This resort is everything you could want in a beach stay. I’ll never look anywhere else again. This was the second time we’ve stayed there and in between I’ve stayed at probably a dozen hotels across the country. Granted not all were for vacation but the Golden Sands sets the bar for hospitality, cleanliness, and just everything! It is convenient and lovely. Next door the Ocean Grill is great for lunch or dinner and the tiki bar is fun too! "
