"I stayed in this hotel years ago, and the lobby was alright and the room was giving motel vibes. I had a morning meeting and needed a hotel nearby my office and I saw that Expedia was offering a great deal with this hotel so I booked it. I usually stay at the Fairmont Olympic when I have meetings in Seattle, but I was so glad that I booked the Paramount hotel instead I was so impressed by the newly renovated lobby, and when I checked in early and went to my room, the room was gorgeous and well decorated. They did a great job renovating the hotel. I was very impressed that I shared my comments with the concierge. The room that I was checked in was very spacious, clean and I was so impressed how soft the bedsheets were that I had to take a picture of the tag of who made it. The view was all right. The bathroom was clean. There was a little bit of disconnect in the design aesthetic finishing with the bathroom and the main room. The lobby and the hallway aesthetic was all cohesive and beautiful. I highly recommend this hotel for business, leisure and for families. The location was near shops and restaurants. I will definitely stay here again."

"What a cool “step back in time” place to stay. My room had a nostalgic water radiator for heat more comfortable heating than forced air. My king sized bed was comfortable & the room had a mini fridge, hot pot for boiled water and a desk with a chair. Bathrooms were very clean and lockable so you can shower or use the toilet with privacy. The Tia restaurant next door was incredible! This was a convenient location for me and a great value. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ experience. "

"Property was excellent. I reserved it at only $117 for the night. When I checked out, I got an email receipt for $173. Seattle has ridiculous high taxes on everything, but $29.95 of this was a so-called guest amenities fee. What the hell is a guest amenities fee?? We did not get any amenities or do anything special or even call them for anything. This is a little ridiculous, especially since it's mentioned nowhere on the Expedia site. I would have gotten the hotel that was a lot closer to our venue had I known the price was going to be basically the same. Seems a little bait and switch to me."
