Beautiful location. Easy to find and friendly staff. We stayed in a lodge for 1 night. It was just what we needed and a great size. Very minimal but everything you need. The lodge was clean but hoovering definitely had not been done as there was lots of bits and long hairs everywhere. Also, the inside of the doors had mud all over them. Breakfast was nice but it would have been better to have a choice and not just given a standard fry-up. As I feel there was alot of waste. I'd still come back as I loved the lodge and location.

The property had great views and rooms fantastic but a lack of hand rails if you have accessibility issues. To get from the upper level to the out side lower level meant a ramp that is to steep under health and safety regulations. The wifi was non existent in the 21st century and never connected over a 7 hour period which meant I could not check on train departures or on line check in for my flight. Which cost me an extra £25.00 at airport. Very poor for 21st century. The cost of staying here was not an issue for me being a wheelchair user but you pay for what you get. And think I didn't get value for money.

Very Enjoyable Stay

Gorgeous lake views. Room was huge, loads of space, very comfortable and stylish. Loads of tea and coffee, plus biscuits. Floor to ceiling patio doors to balcony let in so much light, but curtains kept it dark for sleeping. Stunning place, would definitely recommend and stay again.

Better Than the Photos

We were surprised to find that our room was even better than it looked in the website photos! Usually it's the opposite! Beautiful restaurant overlooking the lake with great, freshly prepared food. We really enjoyed our stay.
