Highly recommended

Such a great stay. To be welcomed with ”your dog is welcome to the breakfast meant a lot to us. Nice and friendly staff. Small but good breakfast with all one needs. A few hundred meters and you are inside the old town.

The hotel is modern and clean with spacious rooms. It is within walking distance of a nature preserve with a lagoon and abundant birds. A popular beach is also right at hand.

Incredibly friendly welcome, and great organisation at The Cite Espace hotel. The location was amazing, with some free parking on site, and so close to the ancient city walls. It took us less than 5 minutes to stroll to the gateway of the old town. The rooms were compact, but honestly, for the location and value for money we were very happy. The breakfast was very good, and superbly organised. I would definitely stay here again. Thank you.

Excellent service from the staff. Were very patient with our attempts at speaking French and spoke English when required. Breakfast was excellent and served on a looking out over the old Cite of Carcassonne. Room clean and comfortable excellent value for money.

We spent one night to explore the old city fortress and enjoyed our stay. It was a 5 minute walk to the main gate and there are several restaurants easily accessible in or outside the main gate. We appreciated having a secured parking spot, and although the room was small, it was clean, functional, and had a great view of the walled city. The staff were friendly and helpful. Overall, a very good stay.

Nice Hotel and Ideal Location

Very nice stay here. It's ideally located for the medieval city as well as restaurants on the way into Carcassonne itself. The staff were very friendly and the room was serviced daily. Our room was small but well equipped. Would have chosen a bigger room if we had known and if one was available. We had a great time at this location and the medieval city is astonishing, but expect to find a lot of tourists. For a good visit, get up early and head up there just before dawn - you will have the whole place to yourself to walk around and take photos.

Comfortable hotel near the ramparts of Carcassonne

The hotel is very comfortable and the staff were exceedingly helpful. It's only a very short walk from the medieval city. There are plenty of good restaurants nearby. The location was perfect for elderly folks to get around. Breakfast is excellent. Air-conditioning, free parking and free WiFi too. Very good value.

Nous nous arrêtons souvent à votre hotel car bien situé. Mais le dimanche 21 septembre 2025 nous avons pris possession de notre chambre pour un petit repos. Ma femme a demandé au réceptionniste qui était en poste pour l'après-midi ou aller manger en ville. Sa réponse tout est fermé le dimanche. Les seuls restaurants ouvert sont dans la citadelle et que restaurant près de l'hôtel est moyen. Je regarde sur internet pour trouver une pizzeria Celle ci est bien ouverte et n'ai qu'a 4Km soit 10mn. Nous redescendons à la réception et je dis à ce réceptionniste que j'ai trouvé une pizzeria à 4Km. Celui-ci nous réponse que celle-ci est à la sortie de la ville, je lui fais remarquer que pour nous ce n'est pas un problème . Je lui demande si il peut nous garder notre place de parking. Réponse : je ne peux vous garantir qu'il y aura une place de libre à vôtre retour. Je lui fait remarquer que je suis un client déjà présent et qu'il peut au moins me garantir une place Réponse : ont verra. Je lui ai fait part de mon mécontentement. Celui ci est monté des les tours avec une certaine agressivité. Je pense qu'il était plus à l'écoute de sont chien présent ce jour et de le laissé sauter sur les clients ne le dérange pas du tout. Heureusement que le reste du personnel sont agréables (femme de ménage et restauration petit déjeuner) Nous espérons que pour notre prochain passage cette personne aura une autre attitude. Séjour court mais agréable

Hôtel très bien situé à deux pas de la Cité, tout le personnel est souriant et accueillant. Les chambres sont de petite taille mais propres et fonctionnelles. Le petit-déjeuner buffet est payant mais copieux et varié. Établissement 2 étoiles à recommander pour une visite de Carcassonne !
