"We loved our stay at the Outrigger. Most renovations were done, nearly everything we saw was new, including our incredible ocean view room. While there are only two dining options right now, both were great. The pool/slide/waterfalls were fantastic. Occupancy seemed a bit low, so no waiting for anything and we could take our pick for the best spots at the pool. Manta viewing from the hotel at night was great and we also did the night snorkel tour with manta rays (walking distance from hotel) - was incredible!!"

"My husband and I just completed a 5-night stay here and had a wonderful experience. Check in was a breeze, very friendly helpful staff, and our accommodations were simply wonderful. Proximity to town is ideal — not too far, nor too close. We stayed in a 1 bed 1 bath condo with a full kitchen. We really enjoyed being able to buy local Peaberry coffee and shop at the local grocery to brew fresh ground coffee and make breakfast every morning while looking out at the ocean and listening to the birds. There was minimal light pollution from Kailua Kona so stargazing was amazing. Also, no noise from the road. Talk about peaceful! If we ever come back to the big island, we will be staying here again."
