Melhor opção em Cape Town

Without a doubt the best option in Cape Town. Comfortable place, excellent breakfast with omelets, and cheeses. Coffee machine served all day at the reception. Next to the main options, you can walk to the Green Market. Friendly and attentive staff. Thanks to Dione. We will be back for sure

On our private balcony with wine and cheese.

A charming old building with authentic wooden floors. It runs parallel to the busy Kloofstreet restaurant scene, so easy walking access. You have the sounds of the city in the background but somehow this location has a quietness to it compared to other places in the city. We loved the romantic little private balcony with bay windows where we had some wine in cheese. The service was personal and sincere with Arthur making us breakfast as per our choice along with the buffet.

If you're looking for character and charm in Cape Town rather than a soulless chain hotel, then look no further. Close to the the attractions of the older part of the city and an easy taxi ride to the waterfront - nice courtyard, good breakfast.

Wenn wir nochmal wiederkommen, werden wir auf jedenfall in dieses Hotel gehen. Super nettes Personal. Beim Frühstück kann man auf Wusch Ei, Rührei, Spiegelei mit Bacon bestellen und es wird einem zubereitet. Für uns war das Frühstück vollkommen ausreichend. Das Zimmer war auch schön. Vollkommen in Ordnung. Wir waren wirklich begeistert. Preis-Leistung hat gepasst.

Small and safe, good breakfast

As a woman travelling alone, I searched for a cheap and safe hotel not too far from downtown, for a week in December. That's what I found. Friendly, welcoming staff. Keys included room safe, room and front gate. Night watchman. Good sized room & bath, with tiny balcony. Effective electric fan. Cupboards minimal, but fine for 1 person. Everyone speaks English. Special, "old-fashioned" common-room/lobby.

Knirking i gulv, dører som det er store sprekker i skjøter og håndtak løse, Dusjkabinet er lappet i sammen over alt, hondkler ble ikke skiftet hver dag og toalettrom bygget som en kasse i romet.Frokosten dårlig utvalg av pålegg ( med tre typer ost, og spekekjøtt + frokost blanding. The hotel was old but the staff were very pleasant. We booked in at the last minute as our original booking was problematic and we needed a place to stay. As a result we had the only remaining room. I think that it would have been better if we had been upstairs. The hotel is quaint and has a lot of character. I will happily return.

Funcionários super atenciosos, quarto pequeno mas confortável, com tela mosquiteiro é um ventilador pequeno, sentimos calor a noite. Tem um frigobar é um cofre no quarto. Café da manhã com o necessário, nada de exagero. No check in vc recebe um chaveiro com a chave do portão, do seu quarto e do cofre. Fica perto da long street e da pra ir caminhando a vários pontos turísticos! Recomendo!

Det är bra för vad man betalar.

väldigt centralt, rent och sköna säng kläder! Väldigt god frukost. personalen hjälper till vid frågor och förfrågningar om man vänder sig till dom. Utsikten från fönster var rätt hemsk (persiennerna nerdragna). overall tycker jag det enklaste sättet att beskriva Fritz hotell är att jämföra det med klädkedjan H&M. Bra för att vara billigt, allt finns men ingen större fokus på service.

Art Deco pretence - little deco, no shabby chic...

The Fritz Hotel was a great disappointment - mainly because of the poor condition of the room...nothing worked....the bedside lamps were broken, the taps dripped incessantly, the floorboards were rough and full of splinters and generally filthy and the whole room smelt odd. I could not fault the staff however, as it is impossible to clean floors that are in such a poor state of repair, and the girls did their best with the little resources they had. The sheets were OK, pillows not so good, towels dreadful - and only one bath towel and a tiny hand towel available. Charmaine at reception was very kind and accommodating, but she could do little - she told me she knows the owner since over 20 years. Shame the owner does not put a little more effort into the upkeep and presentation of the place, because the actual building is lovely, and the location excellent. I felt ripped off in fact, because this is no three star hotel, in my opinion, more two teetering on the verge of one....I did not see any other room than room 4 which gave out on to the front courtyard, and was very noisy. The bins were emptied on the Friday morning very early which woke me up, and then one was treated to a row of black bins just outside the window....very downmarket. On the upside, the breakfast was fine. Decent expresso coffee, and an adequate supply of carbs and fat. Shame the croissants were so soggy - best to pop them into the oven for a couple of minutes....hey ho!!! could do better!!

We enjoyed it very much, especially the breakfast buffet. We were in the room opposite the dining room which was great for getting breakfast every few minutes and taking it back to the room but it left a bit less private because we had to watch our noise levels. But good service overall.
