This hotel is located in a business district, which worked fine for our stay, though it may not be ideal if you’re looking to be close to shops and restaurants. I didn’t spend much time walking around the area, but since we weren’t planning to explore nearby dining or shopping options, the location was okay for our needs. The room itself was nice, though I do wish it had been larger. We stayed in a room with two bunk beds that slept four people, and unfortunately there wasn’t enough space to comfortably store all of our luggage. One feature I really appreciated was that the room had two showers, which was extremely convenient when traveling with multiple people. The hotel’s decor and overall aesthetic are very attractive, and the amenities are quite good. However, the restaurant service was a bit disappointing. The staff was slow and not very attentive—it took a long time for a waiter to return to take our next order after our meal, and overall the service felt unaccommodating. Improving the restaurant service would make a big difference to the overall experience. We paid for an extended checkout since our flight wasn’t leaving until late in the evening, which was helpful. After checkout, the hotel offers a comfortable lobby area where guests can relax while waiting to depart. There are tables, chairs, food, and drinks available, making it a convenient and comfortable place to spend time before heading to the airport.

The room was too small for 2 beds. There was barely any room to move. The distance between the bed and the wall, which is the space for walking to get to the other bed was about a foot. Upon arrival the A/C didnt work and apparently the issue was known but not communicated. It was not fixed until the following day. Thankfully it was windy and the only window that could be opened allowed the room to cool down a bit. Breakfast was amazing though.

The room was clean and staff very friendly. I booked the room for a week, after three days I asked to have my room cleaned. They can and changed out my towels but didn't changed my bed linens. But they did straight the bed up. Everything else was great especially the people at the front desk .

Very Nice Hotel with heartly and accommodating staff. Our room was very Nice, light and had a beautyful view. Very good Dinner and breakfast in the restaurant at the 25th and 26th floor. Super good Location. Bus Stop in Front of the Hotel. We loved to stay at the Hotel Sky Cape Town.

Hotel Sky Cape Town was an entire vibe from the moment I walked through the doors. The décor is stunning, thoughtfully designed from the entrance all the way up to the rooms, giving the whole place a modern, vibrant feel. Breakfast was absolutely top-tier: fresh, flavorful, and with plenty of options to start the day right. The staff were warm, hospitable, and consistently friendly, which really added to the overall experience. The location is also a major win, right in the heart of the city, making it easy to get around, explore, and enjoy Cape Town without any hassle. My room was comfortable, especially the bed and pillows, and if you’re lucky enough to snag a room facing the skyline, the sunrise and sunset views are truly spectacular, like watching the city put on a show right from your bed. The only downside was the Wi-Fi, which was pretty weak throughout the building and made staying connected a bit frustrating. Other than that, it was a great stay. Overall: 8/10 highly recommend, especially for the views and the vibe.

I paid $150 a night to stay in a room so tiny it made a shoebox look spacious. After traveling through modern cities, rural villages, and places where “air-conditioning” means opening a window, this was hands-down the worst hotel room I’ve ever encountered. It wasn’t a room — it was a closet with confidence issues… good luck to you

Lovely hotel, great location, easy walking to the V&A waterfront and the markets. Very clean entrance and communal areas. Having the coffee machine on each floor is a very good touch. We had a room with twin beds located on the 10th floor it was a little on the small side and poorly design, after using the bathroom you have to open the door to go to a very small sink to wash your hands, there was no closet space for hanging so that was a little inconvenient. We stayed for a week housekeeping replenished on a daily basis towels shower gel etc, but never vacuumed the room during our stay which was rather dissapointing because it was brought to there attention. The breakfast selection at the restaurant was very good and the staff worked well cleaning up after each guest left the tables. Overal nice hotel friendly staff from management to the day to day workers. I would recommend and would stay again

The room was minimalist, but clean and the view was great, even on 8th floor. The staff were pleasant - some quite delightful. I had trouble with the TV that kept cutting out although I reported this 3 or 4 times. A lovely women at reception for breakfast got me coffee every morning, without my asking. I would recommend it to others and would stay again myself.

It’s decent for a short stay hecause it's small. Could’ve been cleaner (lots of hair on the floor in the bathroom). Shower needs to be better sealed so water doesn’t leak out because the door to the room is the bathroom area. It’s crazy to me there’s only one small bar of soap for hand washing and i guess that's also for the shower? Luckily I brought my own.

Room was good (although very, very small) and functional. Cleanup every day was something to appreciate. But the was staff at reception treat us during check in was terrible. Although properly staffed they made us to wait more than an hour (after a 23 hours flight). It was like they were waiting for tip, or a bribery to speed up things. Horrible service and customer service attitude.
