BlueSky Hotel

Central District

10/10 Excellent

Great location, walkable distance to many famous landmarks: Taichung Train Station, Miyahara store, Taichung City Hall. It is close to lots of good eateries, restaurants, and milk tea stores. At the corner, there is a bakery that we highly recommend; it has excellent sandwiches and is always crowded. The reception staff is very helpful. The reception area is welcoming with some snacks and a warm delicious date drink. We got Room 715. It is of decent size and has a balcony. Due to some mistakes...

Sun Moon Lake Youngquan Hotels

Yuchi

10/10 Excellent

The hotel has a more B&B feel and is certainly the best part of my trip apart from Sun Moon lake itself in Nantou. The decor is well though and brownie points for the bathroom. Everything looks luxurious and thoughtful. Room was large and equipped with everything what one needs. The location is near perfect, as one can see the distant lake right from the window (if you select Lake view). Its not far, and yet not very near. The last, but definitely the best part was the experience with the hotel...

Vivek

A modern indoor lounge area with wooden flooring, cushioned seating, and green umbrellas providing shade.

Forte Hotel Changhua

Shujen

Fleur de Chine Hotel

Yuchi

10/10 Excellent

We had a fantastic stay at Fleur de Chine. This is an exceptional hotel on all fronts. We were fortunate to be upgraded to a suite with Tatami room and incredible views across Sun Moon Lake from our terrace. Our kids had a blast in the pools and with the many activities. The location right on Sun Moon Lake allowed for some great walks around the lake and hikes through the surrounding forest. The staff were also incredible from check in to check out and always took the time to prioritize guests....

Warren

A balcony with a circular window overlooking a marina with boats and mountains in the background.

Sun Moon Lake Apollo Resort Hotel

Yuchi

10/10 Excellent

Visited June 2023, overall great experience. Good location, nice room with modern amenities (plenty of outlets/USBs, fancy toilet, shower + bathtub). We had a city view room, so did not get pretty view of lake, but public spaces like the lobby and dining area have fantastic lake views. Parking is at local Zhongxing Parking Lot (中興停車場), less than 5 min walking. Free parking from 12 noon to following day 12 noon. Times outside 12 to 12 will be at your own expense at 40 NTD/hr.
