"We enjoyed our stay here but a couple of feedback points which we did mention to the hotel directly. The breakfast voucher set up was unnecessarily confusing and not properly explained to us at check-in, causing issues with the check when we were expecting breakfast to be included. We stayed in one of the Kings Cottages which was perfect for what we required. However the retro air con units were a bit smelly and we were missing a bug shield on the patio door, which would have been handy given the family of huge spiders camped out on their webs on our patio! The concierge staff were friendly and helpful and Kurt was a gentleman. We really enjoyed the craft fayre and local hula show during our stay. "
"Not sure if it was due to the humidity or not, but the floors felt a little sticky. Other than that, the room was clean and comfortable. The walls in the villas are a bit thin, our neighbor had a rave party at 7am and it sounded like they were in the room with us.
A little disappointing that they don't allow a late checkout. Check in at 4pm, and out by 10am. The rates that they charge for 18 hours is a little nuts.
Staff were outstanding, friendly, helpful, and efficient. "
"Great place the most relaxing experience of my life. Only fault is other guests not watching their young kids which causes a lot of them running around while I’m trying to relax (pool, beach, yard)"
"Only one smaller hot tub that was full constantly so we never made it in and with pretty bad weather that would have been nice. Need to have more to do around the hotel grounds, like horse shoes, volleyball, something when the water is too rough to get in. The staff were great. Good overall stay, wouldn’t hesitate to stay again. "
"The property was well kept, except there was an odor of stale smoke in the condo for the duration of our stay. Also the property was quite a bit removed from any store or restaurant (we needed to use a car to get to and from Princeville, the nearest town). The staff was great and the location meant that the only noises were the crows of the roosters and calls of the birdlife."
"Wonderful staff and wonderful stay.
The key feature is the use of the shuttle van - Keith was fantastic and took me to Limahuli Gardens, to Hanalei for dinner, and to the farmers market on Saturday morning which meant I didn't have to hunt for parking in any of those locations.
The restaurant - Gaia - is now open. The food was really good - I liked the ube manapua and you can't go wrong with Unko's chicken. The service was a little slow, but I think the restaurant had only been open for about a week. Just a note - it was BYOB at the time that I went there. "
