"We were running late to check in. The website says they close at 9 pm. We arrived right at 9. No one was there. The next day, the front desk person said they close at 8, then retracted and said he waited until 9 pm. That was not the case. I used the online chat to let them know we would arrive at the last minute - I was afraid of a language barrier on the phone. The front desk never picked up the chat. "Room was very nice, staff was very friendly and helpful. Walking distance from downtown strip with restaurants and bars and beach access. Only thing I’d have to complain about is , I did not expect to be so much traffic in front of the hotel. Even late at night, you hear loud motorcycles almost all night passing by."

"This property is stunningly beautiful. All staff were so kind and helpful! We had our teenage daughters with us, I dont think it is the best place for kids - little to do overall. But we had a nice time. We did the ficus excursion and though it was pricey, it was fantastic! Everyone was very helpful and the food and drinks, though pricey, were delish! Highly recommend, especially for a couple. We did stay in the main lodge under the dining area - the downfall there was the noise from the chairs and tables - it was very loud - would recommend they get some padding for the chairs on the deck to decrease the noise. Or stay in another area on the property."

"The property was beautiful and very maintained. The rooms were spacious, clean and extremely comfortable. Air conditioning was great. The heated plunge pool was amazing. The staff are all helpful and polite. The food and drinks were all delicious and big portions. My favourite part was being in the middle of nature and being able to see some of the incredible wildlife that Costa Rica has. This place is a wonderful place to relax. We definitely didn't want to leave because we loved it so much."

"We stayed for two nights to briefly explore the area and then head to the airport. The hotel is not new but all the amenities were exactly what we needed. A firm but comfortable bed, a good size bathroom with great soaps, shampoo, conditioner, and lotion, a fridge and coffee maker. The breakfast was amazing, and the staff very helpful. Note that your experience will depend a bit on other guests at the property. Our room was right at the pool, the windows are only single pane, so kids shouting and screaming in the pool carries straight into the room."

"En general las amenidades, servicio y entretenimiento muy bien. El check-in tardó mucho. A las habitaciones de la parte premium les vendría bien una renovación, ya se les nota sus años, en la reserva indicaba que tenia balcón pero era una terraza en el primer piso, con el aspecto positivo de que contaba con acceso directo a la piscina y el bar. La playa no es la mejor, el mar es peligroso, el muelle es bonito."
