If you are looking for an aesthically pleasing, quiet and human contactless stay experience then go to the Villa Palmeras in Cancun. There pool was maintained twice in 4 days. There little activity room is hot and unmaintained. We stayed here 3 days and 4 nights. All of the days except for one we had no WIFI in our room. The television was completely in Spanish and had no WIFI connection.​I am writing this review to express my extreme disappointment regarding my recent stay at Villa Palmeras. While a vacation should be a time of relaxation, the complete lack of basic service and the unprofessionalism of the management turned this experience into a significant source of frustration. ​The most egregious issue was a total failure in guest assistance. We were locked out of the hotel for over thirty minutes with no immediate way to enter. When I reached out to the owner/manager for help, the response was shockingly hostile. Not only was she dismissive and rude, but she hung up on me multiple times during an active service crisis. To make matters worse, she later claimed that a staff member had assisted us—a blatant falsehood, as we remained stranded without meeting anyone. ​The property suffered from a systemic lack of support across the board: ​Zero Accountability: Despite being clearly short-staffed, there was no effort made to compensate for the lack of presence. Requests for help were met with indifference rather than solutions. ​Failed Amenities: The Wi-Fi was non-existent,

Close to the airport with the hotel arranging transport. We came after the closing hours like 1 or 2 am in the night and had no issues checking in. Only issue was contacting the hotel over expedia, but they were quick to answer over watchapp. Would 100% recommend if you have a layover or early flight next day.

We had to contact Expedia as our check in code was not provided morning of check in . We finally got check in access late at night and when we do check in at 1am we walked into a room that was occupied already. This was very disturbing being two female travellers and arriving at night with people in our “supposed room” . After finally getting in touch with the hotel via what’s app they gave us a different room which had no extra security lock on top. And after having just walked in on someone else we felt it was very unsafe and could be done to us. I am a travel agent and would not recommend this for safely and security purposes. I have photos of my messages with the hotel telling us which room to enter and the code as well as photos of the room being occupied by other guests. After a long travel day this was so scary and disappointing . A refund should’ve offered .

The property itself was really, really nice, and the swimming pool was fantastic.But the thing is, the internet didn't work.And I couldn't use the safe, and when I use the WhatsApp to try and get these matters resolved from the staff, they were responsive, but ultimately, they couldn't deal with the problems.So if you can't have internet , it's really hard to give a good rating.

The location of the property is not very convient unless you have your own vechile as there are no taxis that pass through. Property ground is decent, rooms are nice and clean. The food however seems more like its cooked before then microwaved when order. Internet goes in and out and that is a problem as everything is virtual.

We always stay here our first night in Cancun/Playa Del Carmen. It is a quiet little gem with its own restaurant. The food is OK, but the atmosphere is idyllic. My only complaint is the recent automation of checking in. I don’t have service once I get to Mexico so obtaining the code to access the hotel and our room is a bit of a hassle.
