When I made the reservation online, I booked a room that was advertised as “Free Access to the beach.” However, when I checked in, I was informed that free beach access is only available for stays of two nights or more. If this condition applies, why was it not clearly stated in the booking description? I paid a higher price specifically to book this room with free beach access, so this situation is confusing and disappointing.

The balcony view was amazing. Breakfast was horrible because we didnt eat. Reason being waiter in charged refused to warm up our kids pizza which we bought there the night before. He said they didnt have a way to warm it up. Camila only person who tried to help us. Need more workers like Camila!!!

The room was relatively clean; however, I found long hair on the bed linen upon arrival. After requesting room cleaning the following day, I was told the room had been cleaned, yet the same hair remained on the linen. Additionally, no hand towels were provided after the cleaning, even after I requested them. The hotel advertised a free shuttle service to the beach, but this service was never available. During our four-night stay, we were not able to use the shuttle even once. Staff behavior was also very disappointing. I paid USD $24 per day for breakfast. On the second day, I had an early morning reservation to visit Teotihuacan and requested either a boxed breakfast or for the restaurant to open 15 minutes early so I could eat before leaving. The staff were rude and unhelpful, and my request was refused. I then asked for a refund for that day’s breakfast, which was also denied. Overall, this was a very unpleasant experience, and the service did not meet basic expectations.

Overall ok experience. The hotel and amenities are pretty outdated. There is no fridge and iron in the room. Breakfast doesn’t have much to offer, I wish it had more healthy options. The good thing is that there’s a complementary access to the beach club. The staff is nice and the rooms were cleaned daily.

Everything was good, the only reason I took off a star was that the bathroom could use a deep cleaning. I saw mold in a couple of places that were probably not visible, but I'm very detailed so I noticed.

We stayed at Krystal Urban Hotel, Cancun for three nights, and overall, the hotel has both positive and disappointing aspects. On the positive side, the hotel is clean, beautiful, and well located. The surrounding area is convenient, with shops and daily necessities nearby. The hotel zone is about a 15-minute walk to the bus stop, and you can easily reach it using the R1 or R2 bus, which is affordable and frequent. Our room was clean, comfortable, and spacious, with a pool and ocean view, which we really enjoyed. However, there were some service and policy issues that negatively impacted our stay. One major concern was the hotel’s drinking water policy. Complimentary water is not easily provided unless it comes with scheduled room service or is purchased from the hotel restaurant. We stayed for three nights, but room service was provided only once. When we asked about it, we were told we might have left the “Do Not Disturb” sign, which was not the case. Later, we were informed that room service hours were over, yet water would be sent. After calling three times and finally going to the lobby, we eventually received water. This was frustrating, as access to basic necessities should not be so difficult. Another disappointing experience involved the hotel’s beach shuttle service. During the first two days, we asked about using the shuttle and were told it was already fully reserved. On our last day, even though our check-out time was 12:00 PM, we asked at 9:00 AM if we could

This hotel is misleading- stating it has a beach club when it doesn’t, just pure lies. Meanwhile Expedia is also on these lies because they want their commission and won’t hold the hotel accountable for this gross misrepresentation. The hotel will provide you with a band and you will have to travel about 5 miles to another property to use the beach club. Guess what, once you get there you are a third or fourth class citizen because you don’t have access to anything and the security guards will frustrate you if you try to sit on any of the chairs. The staff are also racist. Just an awful experience- I will never return to this property nor recommend to anyone.

A pesar de qué muchas veces los cuartos reservados a Expedia son muy malos. Este cuarto estaba bastante amplio limpio y con buena ubicación. Lo único fue que me querían dar como siempre 1/4 pequeño y tuve que batallar, por lo que recomiendo a la gente de Expedia tome cartas en el asunto y nos den cuartos presentes y no lo que sobra.

It is a budget hotel with poor service. Should not be part of expedia VIP . The key feature of the hotel they advertised was the beach club access of their sister hotel in hotelzone with free shuttle. Well, what they give you is wothless. Here is why: 1. Free shuttle supposed to leave 8 am and 9 30 am. Dont think it exist. Requested 24 hour ago and they said no room in shuttle, take your own taxi. Asked if they can put my family of 4 in waiting list, they said they would but i did not see them enter anything in system or paper. Next day around that time, we came down to get breach towels they promised and for 4 adults, they gave us only 2 towels. Said they have no more. We then went to the restaurant for breakfast and came 2 hours later to ask for 2 more towels. Then 1 person said they have no more. Asked another person in another desk, he said i have to return the previous two towel to get new additional two towel. The worst part is they said at the sister hotel we have to present ID to get in despite the band they put on our wrist. For us adults we had drivers license but for kids, it meant we had to carry their passport. That is a really inconvenient and unsafe thing to do and give away your childs passport to a stranger in a foreign country and they hold on to it for the duration. We then took a taxi and moved on with 2 towels only to the sister hotels beach club. It was ok but packed with people and hardly any empty loungers.
