Excelente ubicación. El personal es amable en general. El único inconveniente que veo es que no hay camastros para los huéspedes. Entiendo que se cobran aparte, pero los huéspedes deberíamos tener precio preferencial.

Our room was across the street and down the road from the lobby and pool. Our sink did not work. The ceiling fan did not work. We asked multiple times to correct these issues and were completely ignored. We will never stay here again.

Breakfast tickets are silly-wrist band should suffice. Softer pillows needed. Check-in process could be more efficient-clerk made separate trips to the back to process credit card, then retrieve paperwork, then keys, then towels. Guests next door were caring for the several stray cats by feeding them and bringing them inside their room at night. We had cat vomit on our patio table twice during our stay. Upon arrival we did not have hand towels or wash cloths available in our room. Insufficient lighting in rooms.

Basic hotel is a superb location! The room was well cleaned daily, and the staff were kind when my daughter locked herself out of her room. We really enjoyed the quiet of the pool and garden. Hard to beat the price.

The staff was not great, the room was old and in need of refreshing. All of the electrical switches for lights and plugs were ancient. Yellowed, looked like someone smoked in it in the past. The tile floors had lots of chips in them. I really didn't like the transition from bathroom to bedroom. It was very tall like 8 inches from one floor to the other. It was treacherous at night. The cleaning staff was great.

We really enjoyed our 7 days at Maria's. This is one of the older properties near/on the beach, but privately owned and they take pride in it. The room was clean and everything worked as it should. Give the hot water a minute to reach the room and it will actually be too hot if not careful. We had a ground floor Cabana room near the pool and loved it! Nice outdoor private patio, good wifi and convenient for coming and going. The grounds are well kept by a gardener we saw almost every day. Room was cleaned almost every day, towels every second day and linens once during the middle of the stay. Seriously, who changes towels and linens daily at home? Plenty of filtered water offered in coolers in a little rotunda by the pool with a palstic pitcher and some glasses provided in our room which we then placed in the little fridge we had. Safe also worked well. If you wind your way to the beach side of the property there is a little gate to access the beach directly.

Room was dirty upon arrival. There was a plastic bag with something in it found under the bed. Rooms are very outdated and poor lighting. The hotel grounds are beautiful and well kept. The staff at the front check-in are not eager to help. We waited for a long time for anyone to come to the front reception desk. We found someone around the corner and they waved us away and proceeded to come to the front desk minutes later. You have to pay to use beach chairs..
