「Comfortable and affordable」

「The property was terrific. The redesign of the Jail into a luxurious hotel was fabulous. The service of dinner in the bar area was very good. The only complaint I have was that the young women at the front desk on our arrival took pride in being unhelpful. When we asked her where the entrance of the walking trail was she told us that she did not have a clue because she never walks and had never heard of a walking. 「Lovely stay in this friendly pub. Fantastic breakfast, plenty of choice. Staff were excellent, specially the lovely girl who worked so hard to make sure everything was OK. We were welcomed by the locals and had two days of live music in the garden. Fab weekend.」

「We arrived at the hotel late and upon arrival had a sign saying under renovations. No pool/spa/gym/food. Room was ok. However interconnecting door unlocked which puzzled the staff as to why we would want to lock it. 2nd night bar then closed and had to request more milk pots as no laundry service/restock had taken place.
