"Calistoga Inn is a great option for a one-night stay in the heart of Calistoga. The hotel has a lot of historic charm, and our room was very clean with a comfortable bed. Since the rooms have shared bathrooms, having a sink in the room was especially convenient and made the setup much more comfortable than expected.
The shared bathrooms were also better than anticipated—each men’s and women’s bathroom had two toilet stalls and two showers, and there was always plenty of availability, so we never had to wait. The showers were stocked with towels and shampoo, which made the shared setup even more convenient.
Our room windows faced the restaurant patio and sat right above the kitchen, so it was definitely on the noisy side between kitchen staff conversations and the hum of the AC unit. That said, it was also fun to hear the live music in the evening, which added to the lively atmosphere. The hotel thoughtfully provided earplugs, which made sleeping easy and solved the noise issue.
A nice bonus in the morning was coffee and tea available in the lobby, along with delicious freshly baked chocolate chip scones.
Parking is street-only, but we had no trouble finding a spot on the side streets behind the hotel."
