"The only issue we had was the way we drove in from the 101 coming from north it was very difficult. Don’t come in that way. Other than that, the place is beautiful and the people are very helpful and sweet."

"The breakfast was spectacular and they were very accommodating for dietary restrictions. Gourmet 3 course breakfast! We stayed in the cottage and was nice and quiet with lots of privacy. Perfect for a romantic getaway. The hosts were super nice and was wonderful to know the history of the Inn."

"Loved everything about our stay. We can’t wait to go back. Charming and quaint yet modern amenities. Really appreciated the goodies from the bakery left outside our door every morning. Location was perfect. A quick drive in either direction and we were either in yountville, st Helena, Calistoga, etc. or the other direction, in downtown Napa in minutes. The staff was super friendly. We did a private tasting on the property which we decided to do last minute and they got us booked immediately. ...

Parking was simple and everything you need to feel transported to a lovely hidden gem of town is right outside the front door. Restaurants, boutiques, bookstores, galleries…all right here. The staff is incredible and very accommodating. We’ll be back!"

"You don’t need to bring anything for food or drinks! They have a great selection of things to eat and you can walk a couple blocks for anything you want to try!
Great property and staff that wanted you to enjoy your visit!"
"Loved staying here. Our kids loved swimming and spending time at the pool. It’s not overly crowded around the pool which is a positive. Location is convenient to Calistoga downtown area.
The only con is I felt our room wasn’t super clean upon checking in. The floor seemed dusty. I also think some of the furniture and walls are showing some minor wear. This property doesn’t have double sinks, which can be a challenge with a family. Otherwise great hotel and I would stay here again."
"Perfect Little place for overnight or Tuesday in town very convenient having the restaurant attached, but there are plenty of other places to go all within a 5 to 10 minute walk. Some of the reviews complained about the noise of traffic outside. Definitely a little bit of street noise in the morning when everybody was up and moving, but I definitely slept through it without an issue and I had the room right on the street with the balcony. If concerned about the shared bathroom, not a big deal couple steps down the hallway separate bathrooms for men and women and each bathroom is divided in the two spaces that are closed off from each other so not an issue at all. Definitely would recommend if you’re visiting."
"Without a doubt, Four Seasons provides top notch experience in every aspect, but I would like to stress how professional and high standard the service that we received there. All the staff was extremely courteous. It was a wonderful getaway!"
"Our stay at Okaeri Hotel was truly one of the most memorable travel experiences my wife and I have ever had.
The co-owner personally welcomed us and gave us a tour of the property while sharing its fascinating history. That personal touch immediately made us feel at home and added so much character to our stay.
The hotel itself is absolutely beautiful. The garden is peaceful and meticulously maintained, and the indoor lounge is unlike anything we’ve seen before—it features a stunning swimming pool that has been transformed into a large koi pond, with each koi fish even having its own name! The hotel also has a fun karaoke lounge, beautifully renovated rooms, and a relaxing Japanese-style soaking tub.
The entire property reminded us of the elegant Japanese home featured in the Drops of God Apple TV+ series, complete with an impressive wine cellar that adds to the hotel’s unique charm.
To top it all off, breakfast the next morning was exceptional—a delicious three-course meal thoughtfully prepared by the chef. Every dish was beautifully presented and absolutely delicious.
This was, without question, the best hotel experience my wife and I have ever had. We can’t wait to return and bring our friends and family so they can experience it for themselves. Okaeri Hotel deserves a perfect 10/10. Highly recommended!"
