「We have stayed at The Powfoot Hotel as a stopover on the way to our final destination in Scotland. It is an absolute gem. Of course there are newer and plusher hotels but this place takes some beating for its idyllic location, courteous and professional service, cleanliness, comfort and good value restaurant. Well done all of you at The Plowfoot Hotel, you have put this place firmly on the map for us.」

「A warm welcome was followed by a warm and cosy room. The kippers for breakfast were piping hot and the egg poached to perfection. Breakfast was included in room price, and served to you table. The location is very central to the town, and the host was most helpful. 」

「I was warmly welcomed to this B&B. It is a beautiful house set in extensive grounds. From my window I had lovely views of the garden and beyond. The room was beautifully decorated and the bedding was soft and comfortable. SUSAN THE OWNER TOLD ME AS I FINISHED MY FULL SCOTTISH BREAKFAST HAGGIS INCLUDED LOL. HAD A 1 NIGHT STAY FOR WORK AND COULD NOT COMPLAIN ABOUT ANYTHING REALLY. VERY ATTENTIVE STAFF. CLEAN AND COMFORTABLE. STAROPRAMEN ON TAP (MY FAVOURITE) AND GOOD SELECTION OF WHISKEY. LOTS OF TAKE AWAY RESTAURANTS AND PUBS CLOSE BY.」
