"Clean, quiet, friendly staff, and amenities looked great (we did not have time to use them) The A/C was a great addition! The only issue we had was the parking! It was difficult to find parking wish they had a parking garage or some reserved spots for the customers."

"Grand appartement deux chambres et deux salle de bain parfait pour un séjour prolongé à 4 adultes. Immense galerie et installations (piscines, jeux, jardins) très invitants. Personnel très convivial. Vue imprenable. Il faut toutefois aimer gravir et redescendre les routes du sommet du cabot girao pour toutes les sorties sur l’île. Situé à 3 min à pieds du fameux promontoire du Cabot girao."

"Lovely boutique hotel nestled in a little bay of Camara de Lobos. Our initial flight from London was cancelled so we arrived a day and a half later than anticipated and when we called to inform the hotel they were so helpful, held the room for us and ensured they had 24/7 reception so we were able to check-in fairly late. They had a welcome present for us in the room as well (that might be because we booked through hotels.com VIP though). The staff were lovely, helpful and friendly throughout our stay. There's no parking, but nearby street parking and a large lot that costs about 8Eur a day. The hotel is in a tiny alleyway though so once you see it the lack of parking makes sense. Good breakfast spread and the rooftop pool looks nice, albeit it's a bit small. There's AC in the room, but it's not the strongest. Overall a great stay, has been our preferred hotel to some of the larger resort style hotels we've stayed in elsewhere on the island. Would definitely go back!"

"The perfect hotel for myself and partner. Staff were incredible, breakfast was amazing. The hotel has a history and continues to produce wine and grow fruits. The pool and jacuzzi have a fantastic view over camara de lobos, which is about a 20 minute walk down the hill. We walked back up twice but a taxi is a good option for getting back. Thank you to the staff who looked after us, we'd love to return."

"The staff (housekeeping, reception, hospitality, even maintenance) were top notch; people who appear to have found their niche in providing a welcoming, comfortable environment. The location and amenities were also great. Being built on the side of a cliff, the view from every room we visited was difficult to beat. The drawbacks of this hotel are (1) limited free parking (2) a location that’s a bit further from downtown amenities than some other options; requiring a car or using the convenient city bus (3) some slightly annoying cost management practices, e.g. locking the minibar unless a 200€ deposit was paid, providing only 1 pillow per guest (4) Pool access requires use of stairs, which might be a consideration for guests with limited mobility. On balance, a terrific place with terrific staff. We would definitely stay again. "
