"The room was incredibly clean, kitchen was nicely stocked with dishes, fridge and kitchen area very clean. Comfy bed with nice linens. I loved having access to a free washer/dryer. Staff was friendly and accommodating. I will definitely stay again!"

"It was the night after a big snow storm and I found myself stuck in the city. A quick check on hotels showed the Mt Vernon Inn. I got there at about 11:30pm. Check in was easy. The room was rather “colorful”. Like bright tropical or Mediterranean colors ….different but kinda cool. It was also clean and the bed was comfortable. It’s clearly an old building but appears to be kept in good condition. The only negative would be the heater. It was a big window unit AC/Heat combo unit. It worked but it was loud. On the other hand, it was only 9 degrees outside so maybe it was working extra hard to keep up. For the money, you can’t beat this place. I would stay here again for sure. "
