It's a very small, quiet, pass-through town for most people, I'd guess. That was my purpose for being there. Note that there is nowhere to eat in Byers, but there are lots of places a few exits down on I-70.
Only stayed overnight passing through Colorado home to Missouri.
Byers has a hotel, bank, gas station, and a grocery store/deli. I drove like a crazy person to Byers since EXPEDIA took me 70 miles out of my way. The deli had already closed and I was able to get some cold chicken & potato salad at the grocerystore.
The town of Byers surrounding the hotel was rather sparse. Our group didn't adventure further than the area of the hotel and interstate. With it's close proximity to Denver, Byers would be an excellent investment for business.
Thank you!
