Either that, or host a small destination wedding here - the white sand beach has been rated one of the best in the world and, due to it's remote location, is never crowded. In fact, The Palms only has six large bungalows while the neighboring property, Breezes, has 60 rooms. Otherwise, the beach is yours to share with the few locals who wander by.

The staff were fantastice. Unfortunately we cannot rate this resort better because the pool was unusable. The large adult pool was being used by a child who pooped in it everyday. We brought it to the attention of the owner who assured us they would address it. The next day the child again pooped ...

Relaxing area to 'get away', walk the beach, collect shells, have drinks at neighboring beach bars, read a book, go for a swim ... wished we had stayed longer !!

this was our first time in Zanzibar. perhaps we would have liked more dining options within walking distance but we just took a taxi and were fine.
