Great place to eat and stay - dont tell everyone

Excellent hotel and restaurant. Quick friendly efficient service. When I arrived everyone knew I was coming. Quiet comfortable restaurant with excellent food. Delicious local produce and good value. I mentioned to the chef that he liked using nuts as there were hazel nuts with the fish and a mixture of nuts with the baked apple in pastry. He looked a bit bemused and then said Well, it's autumn. All staff spoke English but switched to French when I spoke to them in French. The room was quiet and although the hotel fronts onto the road there was no noise in the night. A very comfortable duvet and I slept well. Good breakfast with lots of options. Don't do the joke about expecting croissants! The coffee was really good and really hot. (There's something about coffee machines in France which sometimes deliver coffee that is delicious but just not hot enough). Yes, the WiFi was fast enough. I think they've got the mix of good customer service and being relaxed and friendly about right. I will stay here again.

Très bon accueil par les propriétaires de l'hôtel. Une chambre bien agréable avec un ventilateur à disposition si besoin en cas de chaleur. Un petit-déjeuner copieux avec du bon miel et pain d'épices du pays. Tout était parfait, une halte ou un séjour s'impose si vous passez ou séjournez dans cette jolie région.

J'étais dans la région pour un congrès. Il ne faisait pas beau, mais franchement, la région est très intéressante. Il paraît qu'au camping local, il y a des yourtes.

Bonne prestation dans l'ensemble.

Hôtel très accueillant. Restauration parfaite. Par contre le rez de chaussée moderne contraste avec l'étage des chambres qui est un peu vieillissant et aurait besoin d'être rafraîchit. L'escalier est dangereux pour les personnes âgées et il n'y a pas d'ascenceur.

Hôtel à ne pas s’arrey

De prime abord l’hotel parrait correcte mais une fois dans la chambre on déchante vite. La salle de bain sent l’humidité mais le plus penible est qu’on entend tous les gens passer dans le couloir qui craque à cause du parquet passé d’age. L’accueil est assez glacial.... au petit déjeuner j’ai demandé un cappuccino et on m’a répondu oui un café au lait sur un air condescendant... je passe les autres anedoctes....

Yes - there were croissants for breakfast!

Very friendly place - and accommodated our unexpectedly late arrival with kindness. Great breakfast and friendly staff. Looked like a nice little town though we didn't really get a chance to explore. And convenient over night parking right opposite.
