Stayed for a night here. The windows seems to be very thin. Traffic noises and the chanting from the temple just beside the hotel comes straight into the room as if the window was open. Also, staff does not seem to be sure on the "newly imposed" tourism tax imposed by the government. I only realized i paid for it twice after i checked the invoice - once in expedia, and once by cash at check in.

Love the bed but not the pillow as it was quite flat. The shower drainage must improve as water is not draining fast enough and will flood. Heater take a longer time to heat, but the water pressure is good.

The hotel bed was very comfortable, room was clean, minimalism ambience and easy access to places around Butterworth. However, parking place was quite small and difficult to park if it is full. Perhaps, hotel management could look into security issue as I feel anyone can enter the hotel room area as there were no proper security. But, it doesn't affect my overall wonderful experience of staying here. Great place for great value nevertheless!

Ridiculous Hotel - Never Again

Its a ridiculous hotel. - Only 1 key card applicable for each room even when you indicate there are 2 occupancy - The front desk will go to your room to unlock your room door if the other occupant is not around - The air-cond is not cold and not working properly - The air-cond is facing the toilet and the bed area is hot - Design of the room is ridiculous - Air-cond in the hotel are is non-existent Never again staying in this hotel.

Very nicely decorated lobby and room. The bed was very comfy, I was pleasantly surprised at the springy mattress and soft cotton sheets! Sound proofing was good as well, I cant hear anything from the next room. The staff are super smiley and friendly. In the daytime, you may hear some bells from the nearby place of worship. Also the toilet shares a sliding door with the shower, so you cant close both the shower and the toilet doors at the same time. There's another wall in front of the shower and toilet though, so it's not too bad.

Location was quite good. Near an Indian temple and at times there would be bell ringing non stop from 5am to the evening. At the side of the road so there would be a lot of car noises. Weird vibration noise were heard in the middle of the night distrupting our sleep. But all in all, room was small and cozy

I was very upset where after I checked in the room, i was not aware someone knocked my room door, the staff open my door!! I was in the midst of changing my clothes, luckily i locked the door using door latch before I start changing my clothes. This really shock me!! What if I was being seen when I was in the middle of changing???!!! I hope this wont happen again, for the safety of other tenants too.
