「Not the best place I’ve ever stayed but not the worst. Could definitely use some deep cleaning and a remodel. Our room had an odd and very distinct smell, and there was an envelope in the room welcoming someone by a different name than us. Overall, it was a decent place to stay for cheap for a night, but definitely not the kind of place to stay for a full on vacation.」

「It was a very quiet clean well equipped room. Location was excellent. There is a nice wooded area to connect with nature & walk my service dog. The man at the reception desk was very helpful, friendly &. welcoming. Some of the women at the front desk were not so friendly but did their job. The maintenance man was very helpful & professional. 「I went down over memorial Day weekend. The location is very good if you want to go into town or go to the beach you're kind of in between. Easy to get to. The issue is with the towels and the room. We're only given two towels, and they were thin as paper and as scratchy as glass on sandpaper. The air conditioner was very loud and to make the room comfortable it had to be set very low. The TV remote control was just basically a pain in the ass. And the TV was poor quality .」

「Bed was horrible. Need another bathroom on the main floor and keep it clean. Need a bathroom exhaust fan in the bathroom of the hotel room. Need a bowl brush for toilet. Front staff was courteous. 15$ a day to self park??? Was not in the information when I booked. This was outrageous.」

「We absolutely fell in love with the Bayfront Westcott House! From the minute we walked in Sandy welcomed us with a warm smile . The room had two balconies overlooking Marine st . It truly was a charming home with the perfect combination of modern amenities! We especially enjoyed delicious breakfast and happy hour. This will definitely be our place to escape to every time we want to getaway. Fyi parking is only few short blocks from the house. Absolutely loved our stay」

「Loved sitting on the patio in the evening and watching the ships and sailboats. Easy to get downtown and so many unique shops. Loved rain water shower head and soft towels and wash rags. The bed and pillows were like sleeping on a cloud and felt so good after shopping all day! The breakfast was made with care and very tasty. Staff were all very helpful and friendly.」

The entrance is on the side of the building which was not easily visible at night. The bathroom towel rod was rusty and the drain in the shower was lower than the shower floor which made the floor uneven. The TV service was very slow. There was no dinner option at the restaurant as advertised.」
