Need better entrance to hotel. Didn’t like walking through parking gate to entrance. Otherwise hotel is clean and rooms are well done with usb ports to charge the phones. Only stayed for 1 night.

Hotel is in a suburb of Lausanne. Room was not ready at time of check-in. Room was not prepped with linens for 2 occupants. No one answered the service desk when called. Front desk was not aware of major sight seeing spots - Lake Geneva. There was an additional charge for coffee. A/C was not reliable in June. While I was disappointed, I made the best of my stay here. The grounds were nice and clean. The surrounding area/neighborhood is not picturesque.

Great place, super nice staff, very helpful. The only thing was that we may have left something behind and although they were super responsive to start with. They stopped responding now 😐 so I don’t know if they found what we forgot or not. 😢

At the reception customers service informed us that restaurant will be close tonight but restaurant was open, we ordered from outside food but all wasted.

Too far, bus didn’t come very often, no restaurant options around the hotel and the hotel restaurant not open on Sundays or between 2-6:30 pm. Novotel is a large chain and should offer meals pretty much all day. Little snacks that are 4 times the price of what you would pay in a supermarket are also ridiculous when you have no choice for food options at the hotel. Lastly, going to a nearby mall is also not always an option when you don’t have a car. Overall not a good experience at this hotel.

Underwhelmed & Disappointed

We were disappointed with the service and experience we received at this hotel. Swimming pool was closed, this was the main reason we booked this place, and we received no advanced notice. Our son was very upset. We were told about a public pool on the lake, which is lovely btw. We were woken up both mornings by house keeping walking into the room early. They opened the door before I could even get out of bed! When I mentioned it on check out, the staff didn’t seem that shocked! The sink in our room was leaking. Again, when I mentioned to the front desk, he didn’t seem to be bothered, so I assume the next guest in the room will have to manage it with a towel as we did. We had dinner in the restaurant, which claimed to use local produce, but it looked and tasted more like freezer food. Overpriced average food. The gardens are nice but the view of the mountains is now blocked by a new build office block still in construction. Whilst the hotel building is fairly nice, I wouldn’t recommend it unless you have a specific reason to be there.

Basic hotel, familiekamer aan de kleine kant voor 4 personen. Er waren slechts 2 handdoeken en kunssens aanwezig ipv 4. Aan het ontbijt dachten ze steeds dat we maar met 2 personen waren, terwijl wij wel degelijk een familiekamer van 4 hadden. Ontbijt zelf is ok, zeker ook de aanwezigheid van lactosevrije producten werd geapprecieerd.
