「This hotel has now become a Premier Inn. We booked in March to stay at the Holiday Inn Express. We received an email from Premier Inn saying they would honour our booking. This was not quite the case and we are still waiting to hear from Premier Inn. Having paid in full through Expedia, was told at reception on booking in that we haven't paid so a credit card was presented and payment taken (again) from that. 「Cosy and warm, friendly and helpful staff. Very clean room with what looked like a new shower room. The hotel itself is a bit older in style but perfectly fine for a pre-flight stop over or for playing golf locally. In fact it was only 5 mins from Royal Troon and about 15 mins from Dundonald links. Parking was easy and outside the front door - made carrying golf equipment easy! We were allowed to order in Just Eat which was convenient, but lots of restaurants in Troon.」

「We really enjoyed our stay. Apartment had all we needed. It was really spacious and beds were extremely comfortable. Showers were fantastic. Security was second to none as Donald Trump was staying next door the weekend we stayed! Was fun to watch his motorcade go by the end of the road. Even had drones flying over and reporters doing live broadcasts on the lawn on the front of the development. Will definitely be back but don’t think Donald will be here next time.」
