The room was clean, not the hall way and stairway, the wall paper was falling off and black mold was shown. There was no elevator to 3rd floor. the side door was not secured (anyone could enter the building through the side door.

The Garden Place has a great deal of old world ambiance found in Italy. The hall ways and carpets look rough, but the rooms are large and comfortable. The beds are comfortable with fresh clean linens. The bathroom is well stocked with fresh,fluffy white towels. The shower has an adjustable temperature , ao you can select your comfort level. I do miss not having the made to order complementary breakfast items, and the early morning coffee service open to all hotel guests which was ready at 6:00am. I miss those added touches of hospitality.

Had a very pleasant stay! The style of the hotel was very different and interesting. It was pretty neat to sit in the "indoor" courtyard while eating. The fish in the aquarium were beautiful. Staff were all super friendly! There was ice cold lemon water available all day/night in the lobby. I booked this room blindly only looking at photos and a few reviews- some of the reviews were iffy. Overall I am glad I booked. The room- clean, plenty of supplies. A few lower comments- Furniture a bit older, could use some cosmetic repair but overall ok. The jacuzzi tub is also older, jets could use new divertors but worked and was relaxing. Bed- ok. A little springy but comfortable enough to sleep. We were on the first floor, parking lot side- no noise which is a positive. The cafe breakfast was nice, good prices. The exterior- also interesting. I would definitely stay here again and plan to when we return to Niagra in the future- only a 30 min drive. Three positives- hotel staff, cleanliness and different in the interesting category.

This hotel was very fancy looking inside and out. I loved the hallway and staircase. The staff was friendly. Room was clean. Beds and pillows were vey comfortable. Only problem i had was the coffee maker in the room didnt work and the air conditioner wasnt cooling down the room so we had to sleep with the window open with no screen.

We were disappointed with the lack of amenities and the absence of food service or a lounge, as they had in the past. We have been coming to this hotel for many years and were very disappointed. Not sure if we will be back again.

Staff was very helpful. Kim and Kevin were stellar putting breakfast together at the cafe and a special shoutout to Kim for covering a couple of tour buses by herself and simultaneously on a Sunday morning. We had a loud neighbor early Saturday morning. Regrettably, this was 100% attributable to international guests with a lack of respect for others. Hotel staff responded upon request (twice) which I know isn't easy, but eventually the offending party quieted down. Appreciated them getting involved to restore order. Shuttle to airport was easy and responsive even with a late pickup and early drop off. Good price, comfortable room, decent mattress, good water temp and pressure. Could use to stretch the hallway carpet as it presents tripping hazards. Overall, good, not great, but worth the price, convenient and a solid staff.

When we arrived it was after 9pm there was nobody at the desk it was a note be back in 10 mins they did come back around 10 mins later n we got our keys the keys we received did not work i had to go get another one the room was nice tho the king size bed looked like a queen the tv had stopped workin we stayed two days in am the front desk called said spectrum was there fixin the issue n someone we come to my room after 2 hours still nobody came so i got in jacuzzi soon as we got in they came knockin at door we got out i call front desk told them we woyld be leaving to get food they can come fix tv we left even tho our plans were to stay inside in relax for two days we were gone almost 4 hours got bk our key didnt work for our room tv still wasnt fixed n room service never came we called down again they said someone comin shortly took another 45mîns n still couldnt fix tv we had to switch rooms the new rooms jacizzi was much smaller bed was horrible the gummy bears n sponge candy i bought at gift shop were nasty n expired the overall stay wasnt good and i feel like i wasted my money

Most everything is in rough shape but the bed was super comfortable, the place was quiet, and it is in a great location for getting around all of Buffalo. It needs a makeover and it was fine as a place to sleep.

Hotel just had the owner and management change which alot of works are needed to bring up the standards. I had to change room twice for no WIFI, then toilet choke. At last room had most of functioning except TV remote, but thats the least of concernm However, the new management seem devoted, determined to bring up the standards and being responsive. Looking forward to the next visit which i will try book again.

I did not like you had to pay 2.00 for coffee bf 11:00am, they do not put out the coffee until the mini kitchen closes. The bed in the Deluxe room was not comfortable.

We picked this hotel because it looked so pretty and unusual in the pictures, and that aspect didn't disappoint. Really fun, ornate statuary all around the hotel. And I loved my huge jacuzzi tub. But we did have some trouble with the AC and fridge in one of our rooms. A repairman came out, but couldn't fix the AC the same day. And the breakfast was really terrible. Even the hard-boiled egg we got was rubbery and inedible. I wish they would at least spring for some good coffee.

We paid for a suite with jetted tub and didnt get one. They tried to make us walk to the other side of hotel and we are 84 and 83 and couldn;t do it so they gave us a small handicap room without the tub and charged us the same price.
