Safe area near EU and short walking distance from Brussels Luxembourg train station. Very spacious 2 bedroom apt with full kitchen. Grocery store nearby and plenty of restaurants at the nearby square. Highly recommended place to stay for your next visit to Brussels

Bad: Some equipment did not work at arrival. Handyman did not come during weekend and we stay here without air conditioning for three days. Telephone did not work at all. Good: Room is large enough for family, and location is very good. I will stay again only if Hotel management improve their communication and customer services.

The welcome was fine. The apartment was clean and the kitchen well supplied. We only missed larger cups for tea. The building was in an renovation mode we could not use the balcony. This was not communicated withe us. After mentioned this matter it was compensated by the hotel. It would be fine if the facility of parking bicycles is mentioned on the site. The shower was great and the beds were good. We used the parking facility

My husband and I spent two weeks in a one-bedroom apartment in July 2024. The unit was large and nice overall. The property is also well located, allowing good access to restaurants and public transportation. However, we were disappointed with the malfunctioning air conditioning system. Despite our complains, the issue was not solved and the situation got even worse when the summer heat increased.

Quirky! but convenient?

There are a couple of quirks at an otherwise terrific property. There is a side entrance/exit for suitcases, so don't struggle up the stairs to the lobby entrance. The room we were given was not ready, and the safe was inoperable, so we switched rooms, and everything was ok going forward. We were able to use the laundry on level minus 3 but the power kept failing repeatedly while drying clothes. The hotel staff are friendly and helpful with a professional attitude. The area is not the very best but a quick transfer via 95 bus to Grand Place, or the Bru train to Midi/South for the SNCB or SNCF are easy ways to visit Ghent/Bruges and Paris/Lille for a day trip. We enjoyed Bruges and Lille more than Brussels and Paris. Nice restaurant nearby in the square called Vester. Also good sandwich shop nearby called The Poet.

Check-in was not that good. I had to find the correct ring bell. After ringing the bell, a few minutes passed so a lady came to attend me. Parking is another negative point. To find the correct slot was incredibly a challenge (I saw other people with the same problem). All in all, the apartment was clean, with good space, bed and sofa already prepared for our stay. Maybe some coffee/tea and cleaning stuff could be included (sponge, more dish washer soap, etc). Transport: bus is 100m and brings you to the core of the town, with a bus every 5 to 10 minutes. I would come back anyway.

Gorgeous apartment/hotel

Amazing apartment in Brussels. Beautifully furnished. Very comfortable. All amenities available in kitchen such as dishes, cookware, silverware etc. Area very quiet. Lovely surroundings and close to dining and subway and sightseeing.

Very nice and quiet appartement, in the ‘clos’. As it was raining in Brussels I was glad there was an umbrella provided! Place Lux is around the corner, and it’s near the European institutions. Very convenient.

We had a really nice stay at Thon. The apt.has everything we need. Train station is 2 mins away and the Metro station is about 10 mins walk. Cafes and restaurants are all near by, very convenient. We walked back from Central station area to apt. after dinner/ visits a few times. The walk is about 30 mins.

Hotel advertises a pool. However it turns out the pool is in a nearby hotel and you pay a 10euro fee to go there. Gym also at nextdoor hotel, but at least no fee. Staff were very helpful and responsive.

Nice apartments - but not a nice hotel

The apartment itself was very nice, spacious and well-equipped. However, the hotel is not what it looks like at first. Our hotel was at least a five minute walk from the main hotel building in a totally different apartment complex. That meant we couldnt really use the hotel's facilities such as the pool or breakfast. That would have also been a problem if you want to get up early since everything - including the reception for a proper check-out other than dropping the keys into the post box - is closed until 7am.The car park had a very dodgy athmosphere stinking of rubbish and we struggled to find an exit for 20 minutes.
