From the moment we arrived the team catered for our every need in a beautiful and stunning hotel. the service was excellent and friendly and the surrounding were immaculate, well kept and stunningly beautiful. the hotel was near everything we wanted to see and do and the food was exquisite. The property is beautiful! Breakfast was yummy! The issues were- the TV speakers are broken and the toilet seat needs to be tightened. The worst part was the mosquitos in our room. They left the bathroom window open. By the second night my husband and I had a few bites… the next morning, I had 3 on my face, 4 on my legs and 6 on my arms… my husband was covered! He killed 15 in the middle of the night! I brought it up to the front desk. Wasn’t much of a concern. The hotel worker let me know about a plug in mosquito repellent in the room. We plugged it in and they were able to close the bathroom window.. But, we still had mosquitos the next day. Frustrating when I had business meetings all week and bites on my nose and face. Be aware of the mosquitoes! We loved Brugge! It’s a magical place.

The hotel generally and our room specifically were beautiful. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They offered us some solid restaurant recommendations, which was nice because there are so many options! The bar in the hotel was a nice, quiet place to end the day in a town that can be rather full of people. The breakfast room is in a lovely room downstairs and the food was all delicious. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone planning a visit to Bruges.

Delightful hotel set in a beautiful period property within easy walking distance of key tourist spots and a major car park but within a quiet location next to a beautiful church. Staff were friendly and courteous. Rooms were spotless and well decorated. All creature comforts. Bathroom products were of excellent quality. There is a well stocked bar open until midnight a wonderful lounge area. We stayed a few weeks ago then booked again on our way back to the UK. We were not disappointed. We highly recommend and will be staying there again.

My stay at Hotel De Castillon was absolutely perfect from start to finish. The location couldn’t have been better—ideal for exploring everything while still feeling peaceful and tucked away. The room was beautiful and thoughtfully appointed with everything you could possibly need and more. And the bed—truly the most comfortable I’ve ever slept on in all my years of traveling. It made such a difference after long days of walking and exploring. What really elevated the experience was the staff. Every single person was incredibly kind, welcoming, and genuinely helpful, making me feel completely at home. I honestly couldn’t have chosen a better place to stay and would highly recommend Hotel De Castillon to anyone visiting. It was a flawless experience.
