We were put in newly remodeled room which was nice. We drove up from southern Florida to attend a funeral. We had to be there by 2:00 pm so we had to check in early. We were charged an extra $50 for checking in before 3:00 pm even though there was a room available. Not a good look for Hampton ...

My only issue was the oven wasn’t cleaned properly so when I went to use it the room became smoky and the smoke alarm went off I had to open the windows. I cut the oven off and cleaned it myself
